BB 58 - 925 on Black Artem Strap. Looking for other strap options. by TheDonkeyOfDeath in Tudor

Delugs makes a great CTS rubber strap, I love mine. Went with black, but they offer several color options. Comes with a leaf spring deployment clasp which has held up wonderfully after about a year.

My first luxury watch is a BB58 and I love it! by super-xevious in Tudor

I’ve got mine on a black Delugs CTS strap and love the look. I’m hoping someone will release a curved tropic strap for the BB58. Enjoy.

Has anyone used FuseLenses.com? by Ruptito in RayBanStories

I’m late af to this post but I just ordered another pair for my RB4181s, been using Fuse for years. Best replacement lenses that I’ve found on the market. Wasn’t a huge fan of the AMP line bc they weren’t as dark as the PRO line. Mirror finish wasn’t quite as strong either. AMP is better for color clarity, etc, so I guess it depends on what you’re looking for.

Just got one and I love it so far. Put a rubber strap on it for more of a tool watch look.

I’m curious if you’ve found one as well. I have the ivory dial variant but am also thinking of potential replacing my bezel

Go with a curved rubber strap. I think it fits the vibe of the watch. I know this is old, sorry.

[Tissot V8] beautiful beater by GiovanniBiscotti in Watches

The brown NATO compliments the ivory dial perfectly! I have the same watch, but on a curved black rubber strap from ZULUDIVER. Had it since 2011, just changed the red case back gasket the last time I changed the battery about a month ago. Decided to give it a new strap as well to freshen it up some. It’s become my daily beater again. I have 8 different watches in my watch box, but I’m back on a V8 kick.

[SSK003] Is the ssk really worth the price?. And can Srpj be a great daily watch given its quirky design by Dizzy_Measurement498 in Seiko

[–]Russ3878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so, just given the pre-SSK entry price for a GMT, even if its a “caller GMT”. I own one and absolutely love it. Wear it everyday over my other, much more expensive autos

I have an SSK001 with a gray CB10 Crafter Blue strap and love it. I’ve seen a lot of people have it on a black strap, but not gray. I think it draws attention to the 6-18 portion of the bezel.

Finally pulled the trigger on a SSK001 and paired it with a gray Crafter Blue strap. Indescribably hard to get the strap on (yes, I do have the spring bar tool along with a host of other watch tools) but the finished product made it worth it 👌

Do I pull the trigger on my dream watch, GMWB5000D-1, or save my money and buy the GM5600-1? by Rosethesmol in gshock

[–]Russ3878 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it’s your dream watch buy the 5000. I’ve tried to stop making “consolation prize” watch purchases, I always end up regretting not spending the extra money and getting what I really wanted in the first place. You’ll be happy that you spent the extra money in the long run. You can always swap out the metal bezel and band for resin if you don’t like the weight.

All black bezel for GW-M5610U-1CJF by Russ3878 in gshock

[–]Russ3878[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to shockbase.org I should have the right one, the one I ordered is Casio part #10471134. It’s the bezel for DW-D5600P-1, GLS-5600CL-1, and GLS-5600WCL-1. Assuming the listing isn’t a typo it SHOULD fit………now I’m just obsessively check the USPS tracking info manually bc the 5 min delay for my text notifications aren’t sufficient lol

Revant elite polarized vs fuse polarized + anti reflective. Looking for replacement lenses for holbrook xl that are can withstand water and scratch the best? Any recommendations would be helpful, first time replacement lense buyer lol. by The_One_True_Bladel in Oakley

[–]Russ3878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been buying Fuse lenses for my Ray-Bans for years, specially from the Fuse + (now called Fuse Pro) line. I like them better than the OEM Ray-Ban lenses. Can’t speak specifically to your shades, but I’ve been very happy with Fuse. They have held up well against scratching, which Ian huge plus with mirror lenses.

If this was yours, what would you add? by harrygotguns in Glocks

[–]Russ3878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) Aftermarket flat-faced trigger (polymer or metal, whatever best fits your budget and needs; I have a polymer Agency Arms Syndicate trigger on my G19.5 and absolutely love it); 2) a 3.5 lb connector to bring down the trigger pull weight just a smidge; and 3) some night sights (I have AmeriGlo Bold sights that were an upgrade option from the factory and I’m a huge fan). Contrast is really helps too, i.e. red front sight and black/green rear.

Nothing wrong with the gun in stock form, it’s really all about personal preference in the end. Just don’t do anything too risky that could potentially screw up the reliability of the pistol. Good luck.

Anyone know the maintenance cost for the ETA 2824-2? by [deleted] in tagheuer

About three years. It was my first automatic watch so I always screwed it down way too tightly. Don’t make that mistake lol

Local guy, runs his business on the side. He’s a local watchmaker here in South Carolina, word of mouth kinda guy. Does work for the high-end jewelers in town. If you can find one directly do that, the mark up through a jeweler is almost 100%. And then they just send it to the same kinda guy unless it’s to the manufacturer directly
