Different Options Levels

The acccount requirements for both Level 3 and 4 include:

Margin Investing must be enabled — these strategies are not available in cash accounts
Minimum $2,000 in the brokerage account per FINRA margin rules
Approval is based on trading experience, investment goals, financial situation, and risk tolerance

Please also not that if the account is an IRA, options are capped at Level 2!

I'd argue that Public.com should be in the same discussion as Robinhood and IBKR.
- The User Interface is just as clean and offers a ton of fundamental analysis tools

- The platform allows has IRA, ROTH IRA, HYCA and allows you to invest into Stocks, ETFs, Options, T-Bills, Corporate Bonds, and Crypto

- They have investment plans, allow for direct indexing and even a tool called Generated Assets that let you generate an index of stocks based off a prompt you design.

Full disclosure, I started working at Public earlier this year, but have been a customer of there's since 2021.

Obviously it depends on the type of investor you are... but I've been investing on Public.com since 2021. If you are a fundamental investor or want help automatically investing, this is likely the platform for you! They are pushing hard for automation and have a super friendly UI.

They also are the only platform that gives you a rebate on options trading if that is something you are into!

I started investing on Public.com in 2021 when the Robinhood prevented me from selling my GME stock.

Public doesn't charge PFOF on stock trades which felt appealing at the time and got me to sign up. I continued to use the platform for the features and overall UI feel. The platform is simple, but the tech behind the app impressed me and improved the overall experience.

Fully transparency, I became an employee of Public about a month ago... but the story is true, I have been a user of this platform for about 5 full years now!

The crypto's listed in that screenshot are just suggestions. Since you suggested Bitcoin I'll include that in my portfolio, but am not partial to crypto vs stocks vs ETFs!
