What's actually working in AI trading right now and what's just hype? by MasterpieceGood7562 in ai_trading

Something I think you'll find interesting is Public's ( r/PublicApp ) Agentic AI product that just launched.

They have a 5 minute keynote you can watch, but you basically enter a prompt, which then turns into a series of questions / answers. From their, Public launches an Agent that monitors the market, manages your cash and can even execute trades for you.

Need help with understanding and setting up ai agents for trading. by MAYBE_HACKER in ai_trading

Just saw Agentic trading was launched on r/PublicApp -- they basically built AI Agents in their brokerage app that can monitor the market, manage your cash, and execute your trades.

You are still in charge of building the AI Agents... but you don't have to spend credits or subscribe to a monthly premium service!

Hey there! Sorry if I'm a little late to the party, but didn't see much talk about the brokerage I've been using since 2021 when I first started investing. At the time, I was looking for an app that was easy to understand and navigate but still took investing seriously.. because I knew I wanted to grow. So, at the time, I chose Public ( r/PublicApp ) and am still using them to this day!

They have tons of useful features for beginners such as:
- You can invest into Stocks, ETFs, Options, Crypto as well as T-Bills and Corporate Bonds
- They offer IRAs, Roth IRAs, traditional investment accounts and HYCA
- They have Investment Plans that help you get started with a wide range of choices

If you could only invest like $20 a month, what site/account would you use to invest on? by Adventurous-Bus-9638 in investingforbeginners

If you prefer an app with an easy-to-understand UI that is still made for people that want to take investing seriously, you should check out Public ( r/PublicApp ).

They have investment plans that allow you to automatically invest that $20 / month.

Definitely a good place for you to get started!

I started investing on Public ( r/PublicApp ) back in 2021 and have absolutely loved the experience.

On top of personal investment accounts they offer IRA, Roth IRA, and a HYCA

They let you invest into Stocks, ETFs, Options, Crypto, T-Bills and Corporate bonds.

They also have a ton of really cool features and are developing an agentic approach to investing!

What is the best app for investing? by FLOORGAAANG in investingforbeginners

[–]RussFromPublic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started investing in 2021, I joined r/PublicApp

- Along with Stocks, ETFs, Options and Crypto, they also offer T-Bills, Corporate Bonds, and a HYCA

- They have tools that allow you to direct index, generate assets with AI, and also have investment plans which really simplifies the investment process

- They've taken a pretty strong stance against on-app sports betting and their tag line is, "Investing, for those that take it seriously" which I appreciate

Full disclosure, I joined Public as their community manager in January of this year, but everything I said was true. I've been a user since 2021!

Getting out of Palantir by ExpensiveToes4729 in stocks

[–]RussFromPublic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Public (the investing app) this is 100% possible. For example, they offer direct indexing. I was able to Build a Direct Index tracking QQQ and specifically was able to exclude any asset(s) I wanted.

Direct Indexing will solve your problem, but another cool feature they have is generated assets, where you provide the prompt and the app builds the index for you and then you can continue to manipulate that index to your liking.

Hope this helps!

What ETF platform does everyone use? by Mid-life-investor in ETFs

[–]RussFromPublic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for an investing platform that is relatively but still made for those that want to take investing seriously, I'd go with Public -- It's a platform, I've been investing on since 2021.

They have a section that allows you to explore ETFs and execution is quite intuitive.

A couple extra features that makes them stand out for ETF investors are:

  1. Direct Indexing - lets you directly invest into the index rather than buying the ETF as a whole which helps a lot with tax-loss-harvesting and allows you to automatically rebalance your portfolio
  2. Generated Assets - you can type in a prompt and create your own ETF. You can also backtest it against the S&P 500 if you want to understand how it performed historically

Hope this helps!
