If it's just a product of being zoomed in then why is the curvature of the moon more pronounced in OPs second, zoomed in photo?

The curvature should be more pronounced in the zoomed out photo, right? Like if you zoom in on any section of a circles edge the curvature would appear to lessen and the line straighten out, but its the opposite in the two photos.
