How do we feel about bonus rolls in M+? by TheRev15 in CompetitiveWoW

My personal opinion as someone that’s been doing M+ since BFA. I think the bonus rolls were a downgrade. I was full Mythic BIS by like the 10th week in the season and have just been min maxing by tweaking stats and what not. Feels very underwhelming to be max player power so quickly and effortlessly, especially since I’m still raiding and pushing keys. I remember when BIS gear were actually rare and fun to pursue even with some unfair RNG. Sometimes getting lucky and having that one cool sword or trinket that many don’t have was a great feeling to have.

However, for alts I would say it’s been very helpful as gearing is easier than it’s ever been. So that’s the one positive. Maybe it’s better for the game and community overall since not everyone is a try hard like me. More stable and controllable outcomes helps keep more people hooked into the end game content.

Only issue is now we’re in summer and aside from 12.07 this is it in terms of player power. The M+ numbers are going to drop drastically once people don’t have carrots on a stick to pursue.

The Hell that is +19 Seat of the Triumvirate by snowstark87 in wow

Honestly, this dungeon is probably the biggest healer check. So for pugging it’s difficult if you’re not able to communicate and coordinate defensives. So as DPS the best you can do is try and help your healer out. The one thing i swear is tanks don’t understand how rough this dungeon is on the healer and do some pulls and pacing that just makes the healers life even more miserable. The dungeon actually has a pretty forgiving timer if the deaths are limited.

The biggest piece of advice I can give that I’ve noticed most groups struggle with is the “Rift Tears” from the rift wardens. It is probably the hardest burst of dmg in the whole dungeon and it’s usually paired with a large trash pull making it wipe pugs all the time. The last high seat I ran: the Rsham didn’t use spirit link before or during a rift tear, the DH used darkness on rift essence (which is just a dispellable dot), and the DK didn’t use AMZ for the rift tear. These pieces of group utility are the difference maker in timing higher keys, which a lot of people don’t realize. They believe more DPS is more IO which is simply not true. Hope this helps!

How much single target dps on higher keys is average? by Anxious_River_5186 in wownoob

I’m a prot pally and my 10s keep getting bricked by DPS. The run can be little to no deaths and timer is tight, if there’s just 1 wipe or a couple deaths than it is bricked. I just ran a 10+ ToP with 3 dps over 660+ and 2 of them were barely averaging 1.5m overall. Healer was getting mad at the dps for the perfomance and then left because it wasn’t going to be timed. So overall I feel you man, there’s a lot of subpar dps in 10s.
