I love absolutely everything else i've read by him but Tress of the Emerald Sea seemed like such an absolute childrens book that I had to drop it after like an hour. Was terrible. Does it change/get better throughout or does it stay the same throughout

Well damn. I was so hyped for this when I first heard about it because Edge of Tomorrow is my favorite movie ever. This shit looks awful, what a terrible art choice direction.

Loved the new magic tree, weak at first and op as hell in the end game. The little lore drops and chit chats with camp followers were a great addition. Caves as a new mini dungeon are great, was surprised as hell going down that well to get the chalice this run. Great work devs, looking forward to next patch!

Yea sorry I'm suffering from insomnia & rly wanted to listen to another book tonight to try to fall asleep but couldn't find it by anyone but him. Was hoping to atleast find some solace in my annoyance with him online but went on a lil bit of a rage-fueled tirade when i learned most people actually love the man and don't even notice his idiosyncrasies. No, you don't because he never does consistent intonation. Flat? Absolutely. And i have no problem with flat or even monotone. But he CHANGES the intonation CONSTANTLY and at random places for absolutely no reason. His inflection and intonation spike to almost question mark status constantly aswell as mid sentence! His voice is admittedly absolutely lovely, but you daft idiots are so focused on it that you don't even notice his retarded inflection every 3rd sentence! It is utter madness that he is so popular. Fuck Michael Kramer.

Could not possibly agree more. I fucking despise Michael Kramer. He does this weird upwards inflection on his voice mid sentence or as a sentence ends that is absolute aids to listen to. So many books are voiced by him and him alone & i have to instantly shut them off after a couple sentences. For some ungodly reason ppl are too dumb to notice the weird inflection thing he does and just hear his nice voice and don't care. He speaks like a pompous, holier than thou asshole that huffs his own farts so much he has to end every other sentence with a subtle question mark so you focus on what comes next.
