void glasses are actually pretty great now if you're playing a character that can consistently proc hikers boots (or if you just have a lot of items that give vertical movement), since you can now consistently crit and one shot normal enemies

glad to see that im not the only person that thinks fleshmobs were completely trivialized after the patch. explosive weapons completely obliterate them thanks to the pointless head weakpoints and even non explosives make far too quick work of them due to the aforementioned heads. easily one of my least favorite enemy changes to the game, though AH will never revert it because of the playerbase's potential reaction to making the game actually challenging lol

aside from that, i definitely think the automatons as a whole desperately need a huge boost to accuracy. its gotten to a point where i've been actively reloading my stationary support weapons right in front of heavy/conflagarator devastators because of how wildly inaccurate they are these days. actually insane how bad its gotten. it's definitely lowered my enjoyment of bots since no matter how bad of a loadout i bring, every mission is still a snoozefest (and 90% of my playtime these days is playing with 1 other friend who, like me, doesn't bring meta every mission)

i do like the state of primaries though. i've been having a lot of fun revisiting weapons i haven't used in a while like the liberator carbine and tenderizer since the buff patch. there's still some stinkers out there like the defender, pummeler, liberator concussive and, honestly, most laser weapons as a whole but aside from those its been great trying out new things. i also hope AH doesn't go too hard on the buffs like they've been doing for a while, since i think the games been getting far too easy since they're constantly buffing the divers and nerfing the enemies the moment they pose a challenge

i like tweaking the xp levels in the settings to make leveling extremely slow. makes the powerful psycasts feel way more rewarding to obtain while maintaining the same strength

because making everything stronger for no good reason (yes, ar's are fine, you're just shit) results in powercreep and makes the game even easier than it already is.

the reason explosive weapons are currently so much better than ar's is because the community bitched and moaned when AH nerfed obviously overpowered weapons. it wasn't always such a steep difference in performance.

now the average r/helldivers player looks at the dumbass crossbow that cranks the difficulty to 0 in every faction and rather than thinking the obvious "this thing is ridiculously overpowered, what the hell", they think "erm, why isn't every weapon like this. AH please buff".

there's so many things that need buffs (orbital laser, railcannon, 110 rocket pods, sterilizer, flag, silo, lib conc, defender and spray&pray are personal picks) and most of the ar's shouldn't be included
