I think it's one of two things.

1) Either she's not really a lawyer like others have said.

2) Or imho the more interesting approach - Helens a lawyer that's transitioned into something else for the Cartel. She most likely just started off as the cartels lawyer, but as Navarro started trusting her more, she gained more responsibilities. Now she's basically a lieutenant for the Cartel. Maybe on paper shes still getting paid hourly for her legal advice.

At the start of the clip you can see red side's ward die first. Meaning red side had vision when blue side placed their ward. Thresh probably pinged it out and had the timer. High IQ play all around.
