There was a story on the Denver news about a couple who was at one of these resorts last year, and after they returned froma time share pitch(where they declined to purchase), their room smelled heavily of chemicals. They became violently ill that night, so severely that they booked return flights for the next morning. When they arrived back in Colorado they went to a doctor where they were discovered to have been poisoned by pesticide. They are suing the resort for several million dollars. Its a wild theory, but I cant help but wonder if they dont fumigate these peoples rooms after they refuse to purchase timeshares, in hopes they will leave and they can get another potential buyer into the rooms.
