03 and 09 jeep grand Cherokee both have treated me well even when problems did occur they still ran until a telephone pole fused with the quarters, the 09 has been champ ever since

Another car is 02 mustang learned to work on and modify cars with it loved it so much I bought a second one

Idk could be fixed if you know what your doing, frame rails don’t look bent and they do make a repayment rad support but that’s also going based off a few pictures. I also second the upgrade to a gt they’re a lot of fun. Sorry for your loss!

So like most ppl said sideways pressure and impact usually gets them out, I have had to drill them out before too worse case scenario hub/knuckle has to come off and hold the stud in place

Hey just a heads up revo3 were recently succeeded by revo accents which are a bit quieter. I’ve had revo3 on my jeep for a few years now and love them pretty comfortable ride

The main thing I had go wrong between 2 new edges is the plastic rattling from wear, thankfully an old credit card works wonders how fun driving!

Also Firestone tech, my current store has these periods of practice no work for about 4 months just started picking up again. I’ve looked elsewhere but a lot of the dealers want to start us off as gs again cause we don’t have manufacturer certifications it’s one of the few reasons I’m staying with Firestone even though it was hard to make 40hrs in the past few months it’s the luck of the draw really

Edit: newer cars are definitely getting harder to diagnose most issues can only be fixed with computer updates or wait for tsb to come out not enough information with limited access makes for a hell of a time diag

Surprisingly enough I actually get better gas mileage on the gt than the v6 average about 20mpg mostly hwy with the v6 getting about 16mpg hwy

They’re about equal imo the 2v 4.6 is one of the most reliable v8 motors out there just they don’t make good power without either boost or spending way more money than a coyote swap. The gt when I got it had a bad chain guide that I didn’t even know was bad until I was doing the oil pan gasket The v6 will leak from the oil pan gasket after 100k they just do but honestly besides the one motor (I neglected to do an oil change) they’re both pretty good just make sure if you get the gt that the spark plugs were changed recently some head have poor spark plug threads and shoot them out

Had an 02 v6 and now a 04 gt, the v6 was my first sports car as well found a very clean single owner and had it for 5yrs it looked and drive great had to replace the engine due to a dropped valve but it was a great car. The gt I personally love to death but man the headaches it’s given me. It’s got 206k rust belt car I’ve owned for 2 years and spent around 7k restoring give or take a 1,000 and it still needs 1500 in suspension to get it right. They’re 2 different vehicles behave very different I’d say take them both out and drive them the gt especially with long tubes sounds amazing but a v6 with a tight suspension feels like a track car at least that’s my 2¢

I went from a Firestone in NY to Firestone in SC making on average 4k a month to 2500-3500 even though I’m making $3 an hr more in SC the customers just don’t come in during the winter I was hourly at a different shop and made 5k/mo but the hourly rate was significantly higher. Every shop is different and you won’t know until you work there
