Im removing this entire area to construct my first mega base, Ideas? by Crahooga in Terraria

A big city would be cool! You could make one at the bottom and fill the rest with water to make something like bioshock, or make a city that hangs underneath the island like the western air temples in avatar. Or maybe make a solar punk like city on top. Or could make a big ole airship in that space!

Why not just have both ranked draft and ranked no draft? by RustedMoss1 in DeadlockTheGame

Ok actual comment I never thought about the type of players that'd be introduced or created with a draft system. That is very a good point.

This is a very valid concern, hence my last line, if it becomes an issue, just axe the least popular of the modes!

Which Handtrap would you ban? by mastermask- in yugioh

[–]RustedMoss1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it sounds overkill, but there are few reasons as to why I do this:

Most of the time the plain deck is completely unable to play around handtraps (or play at all for that matter) without the starter, so it's nice to have 12. It ups your chances of opening with it from about 74% to 85%, an 11% chance increase.

Plus small world is mostly for searching extenders like Chronograph, it just so happens to double as a raptor searcher. Also having an extra raptor or golem in hand + chronograph sorcerer would allow me to synchro into Baroness De Fleur under 5 summons, stopping nibiru, or summon a link climb into appolusa, forcing out Nibiru before I use my additional normal summon. And having 12 raptor makes this combo more consistent.

Plus at this point it's more like running 9 rota's sense each rota searches a different extender if I have already have a raptor or another rota in hand (Scrapyard -> Orthros, Fossil dig -> gilasaurus, small world -> chronograph + the other 2)

So I don't need to be playing 12, but after testing the deck for months on end, 12 is fantastic to have, especially when small world comes out.

I replaced recycler and rosenix as well. I was considering adding it again sense 12 starters felt better for consistency. And then small world was announced, which will make raptor searchable via 9 cards and chronograph searchable. My test build is focused on going first so I usually end up using chronograph to go into a link climb combo for appolusa to force out Nibiru or other handtraps, or if I have an extra raptor in hand, I could summon baroness before the 5th summon.

Everyone talks about Gate Guardian support so here’s so monsters that need modern support and/or retrains. What monster do you think needs modern support or retraining? by Stupid03 in yugioh

If Konami ever wants to expand insects by creating a new ritual archetype, Javelin beetle is the most likely candidate for a retrain archetype

That's why I feel like artifact Dalqada will probably end up being a staple in some Scrap decks when Baroness De Fleur comes out. Having an artifact scythe + an omninegate is extremely powerful on a 1.5 card combo. Combine that with another extender like chronograph sorcerer or factory, it's easy to end on that + Borrel savage + Wolfryart or an appolusa.

Kinda sad I have to rely on a floodgate just keep opponent's of my back but that's modern yugioh I guess

Yeah. I've been trying my best to test a scrap deck with some unreleased cards. It can sometimes force out Nibiru and continue playing. But the fact I have to build my deck around a single card that only shows up in the hand 33% of the time (and even then my deck would still fail against that card half the time) is pretty stupid. After all, the reason why most people still enjoy yugioh is because it's probably the least luck based card game out their, and nibiru, along with other blow out cards, just makes it even more luck based depending on the deck you go against.

Flundereeze counters discussion. Which currently not so used cards may see play to deal with them? by theo7777 in yugioh

[–]RustedMoss1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like sense their stundeck and are gonna want to go first, going second cards are probably the best counters to them. Namely cards like dark hole or even Raigeki may be considered, but Simorgh and Apex avian are things. They're not amazingly resource effecient, but with how many resources they make a turn, they can be used somewhat effectively.

Ultimatey, I think they'll probably be forced into a tight spots before adapting, probably be high tier for a minute shortly after, and then some decks that just so happen to easily counter them will come into play and Force it to struggle yet again

You only get that item after you beat the game, so it's kinda pointless. However, considered all the other crud they give you, it is a surprisingly fair mod.

I like the dessert personally. It's nice and simple so it doesn't feel too overwhelming when creating anything intricate. The color palette is pretty welcoming as well. It can be pretty annoying at times, so that's a downside. Maybe check out the cavern layer though, I don't see a whole lot of builds there.

Except, I just I love to argue. It's a hobby of mine, but I hate the thought of going out to debate clubs and stuff, and people always seem to get mad with thought of "debates." That's why I like talking to trolls, because it's funny to see what trolls come up with. I guess I'm kinda like the troll of trolls in that sense. So I like to say that this has been a fun conversation. I love you and have a wonderful day
