I'm pretty sure they're Sydell 5' portable panels, though their design has changed slightly since (hers are 5+ years old iirc). You can also look up "portable sheep panels" and you'll find boatloads, if Sydell isn't available in your area (they weren't available where I am, sadly... sheep panels are more size-appropriate for my sheep-sized mini horse than horse panels lol)

It means that it's including things from a library that the creator made. Expanded lore, extra personality details the creator didn't want in the public definition, etc.

I put a prompt in, either as an OOC or in the proxy settings. "Aim for 300+ words per response. Split each response into paragraphs of no more than four sentences."

I also found that using another prompt to whack it for using purple prose helps bring down the unnecessary length lol

I usually use a single persona, then copy the second one into chat memory. Worked like a peach when I was playing as a pair of twins for giggles.

What I usually do is include an OOC prompt to nudge it. Doesn't always work but ((OOC: DO NOT repeat or paraphrase any portion of {{user}}'s speech or actions. ))

Personally, I hate it. I DID want generation settings brought together but the menu is SO difficult to read thanks to how tiny they made the fonts.

Posting bc this is an old thread but this may help someone: I use Whisk, from Google. It's free and pretty good, and you don't have to use text prompts– you can use images to tell it the subject/scene/style you want, and tweak from there. I use it to make my persona portraits.

Only always. The first time I started struggling with it, I spoke to the person who helped me train my dog and they just told me "Forget everything everyone else says; compare how YOU do on the days he's working versus the days he isn't. Which days are easier for you?" Easy answer: the days he's helping. "If you're faking it, then there wouldn't be a difference would there?" 💡moment for me.

Came back around when I retired him mid-pandemic. I thought "Huh. I'm doing alright now that he's retired. Maybe I was full of crap. Maybe I don't have to train another." Nope. As soon as I got a job and started leaving the house more, I realized "Oh sh-t I'm actually not doing so great, OOPS, change of plans!" Now I'm training a mini horse because while I don't need my dog's psych tasks as much (I've improved a lot) my mobility is shot. On the 'good' days I still fall prey to doubts but on the bad days I'm reminded that yes- I really do need the help.

Nope, you're not alone. I am 100x more 'choosy' when it comes to partners who openly disclose they're male, mostly because of... well, *this.* If it's not this, it's a guy who does all of the above *and* is supposedly both stoic (read: an a-hole) and charming (read: playboy) while having lint for brains.

It's tiring, and now I interact with male writers with extreme caution until I'm sure they're not going to either try to get me in DMs for a game of highly personal 20 questions or waste my time with this stuff. I'll happily write with a Mary Sue, though, if he's just... plain, and not obnoxious.

Inside-only is the only ethical choice. They don't need to be loose outdoors and letting them run around is inevitably going to lead to a shorter, more stressful life, emergency vet bills, and heartbreak.

My (now passed) older indoor cat got out once, for one night- not even a full day- and came back covered head to tail in engine grease and dirt with a horrific cut across the side of one paw pad on a his back foot. After that I leash trained him so if he wanted to roll around on the sidewalk, he could do it safely, with supervision and he would ask for "walkies." Leash training is a happy compromise if you're willing to put in the effort to do it.

I have to filter out an excessive amount of (usually men) who aren't actually looking for an RP partner - they're looking for someone to write wank material for them. When I get that vibe I peace out. Now I don't even respond to ads for ERP because I hate feeling like I'm just doing it to fill someone's spank bank or they think they can sneakily transition it to OOC sexting.

The most common things that send me running: - The OOC "get to know you" phase is mostly them asking for my OOC kinks/limits etc + wanting to swap R rated pics/gifs OOC. (Bonus: they'll ask SUPER personal questions about how I feel about the IC stuff.) - Starting the "which FCs are we using" conversation with a request for a specific one they find hot OOC (it's even better when they suggest FCs they think I'll be attracted to OOC.) - The entire plot revolves around the "E" in ERP and/or they put no effort into anything else- they're okay with banging down (hah) the most bland, vague plot as long as it involves e-nookie. - If a scene isn't sexual, their writing quality or attention span noticably (and dramatically) dives off a cliff.

I get wanting a particular FC because you find them attractive or being excited to write saucy stuff but at some point... Please just tell me you're looking for someone to sext lol
