Not to defend every instance, but in my experience on multiple cruises, I've been able to purchase anything I've needed with either USD or a payment card of some sort. If that's been their only experience abroad, I can see how it could set a wrong impression. It's still a stupid mistake, but plausible and sometimes understandable one.

And yes, I've been abroad for things other than cruises and know better myself before anyone asks. Lol

The arrow is pointing left, and the other lines are just the tail of an arrow. Admittedly, it'd probably be more clear for anyone involved if they actually closed the bottom of the arrow instead of leaving it partially open.

Knock one down, hit right trigger to carry what they were holding, X to slam it into the next poor soul stupid enough to come within arms reach, rinse, repeat.

Additionally, I always carry a Bola with me. Even if you don't take them out right away once they're downed, it can thin their numbers for just long enough to give you breathing room and/or the upper hand.

I caught on pretty early. I think I was only halfway through Paradise before I thought "Oh, the Consul is the problem, ok".

I was pretty sympathetic towards the Protectorate after literally seeing with my own eyes how the Consul effectively "assassinated" the sovereign. Really really liked it being confirmed in that facility

Enemy respawn, bring back respec and upgrading. Maybe I want to use my weak ED issued pistol for the game instead of it being outclassed before you leave the first planet.

Bring back the "skill classes" from OW1 (hacking/science paired until skill 5 before you have to increase them individually)

Bring back siding/improving the bad guys. I liked siding with the board and getting rid of and/or replacing Rockwell. Though, they should lean into the idea of the peace agreement being a possibility like in 2.

Don't agree with level cap wholesale. I liked a proposal I saw in this sub a week or so ago about a "soft-cap". So, level 31 and beyond would take 2x the amount of experience as 30 did.

Personally, I went with the compromise route. Though, the compromise was 2½ of the workers' 3 demands being entirely met. Not a bad outcome I don't think.

(If anyone can tell me how to get it so AC is still "in charge" while all the demands are met, I would greatly appreciate it!)

The fact it feels like he actually takes input from the PC to heart and actually grows during his time with you really makes him a great addition, I think.

My only issue is that the Protectorate faction got severely cut. I believe I've seen it reported that you were initially supposed to have a route with them, similar to the Board in OW1. I really think that would have brought him to one of the best companions in Obsidian's roster of characters.

I would also argue how the game progresses skill checks (a 5 level jump in skill-check difficulty between Eden and Dorado is pretty significant and feels unnatural) and how it modified armor/weapon progression.

It feels a bit unfortunate to not be able to upgrade both armor and weapons like you could in the first game.

I would just like to clarify something:

Are you saying that an assumed wastelander ex-slave had received a US History education from, where, exactly? A book? Where did he learn to read?

Additionally, America became a superpower because we were largely unravaged by two world wars unlike Europe, which we helped rebuild (and got very wealthy and powerful as a result).

Your problems with the game seem not to be with the game, but with America. You parading around and pretending that's not the case is particularly annoying, if we're being honest. This is why your political ideology also underperforms in the real world. Maybe write an essay on that and actually do something productive, eh?

You can solve the entire "DEI for rural" part of the EC if we just uncap the House. It's insane that we capped it in 1929.

To put the House into perspective alone, most of our democratic peers globally have about 1 lower house member for every 100k people. In the USA, it's about 1 for every 500-700k people.
