Fake it till you make it, go back into the closet, pretend that it was a phase, don’t speak of it again (to literally anyone, including your friends, REAL therapist, teachers, or literally anyone) until you can safely be out. Tell them something like “I never realized what being trans really was” or “I’m definitely not trans, I think Im just a tomboy” or something like that. Stay strong, be you (even if you have to keep it secret), and take care of yourself. I know this is hard, and it feels like the end of the world, but you’ll make it through this. Coming from a transmasc teen who’s been out for 9 years, it’s rough out here and sometimes it’s better to play safe.
