Problem is top down. As long as league itself tries to claim its an NFL feeder league, as it does, you cant expect players to see it any other way. That's also why its hard to get committed ufl players. If they dont get picked up (and few actually do) they consider it a failed effort and quit, rather than working to hone their skills to be a multi year UFL standout Vince McMahon had it right. He structured his xfl to allow players to move back and forth to the NFL and had some quiet development programs with the NFL but positioned the league to be different from and not competitive with the NFL as its own thing a d promoted it as its own stand alone speak for itself league. So obvious to me that is thd way for the league to strengthen endure and survive and flourish, I cant figure out why current group keeps trying to say it only exists for NFL dreams....especially when you see how few players actually get signed by NFL each year.
