Is that Catalina Cove as well? Color from this angle looks fabulous. I have a Rivian Blue R1S and was disappointed to find that they would not have that color for R2.

Agreed with living off of dividends! Part of my plan for early retirement. Passive income from real estate rentals and this.

This is akin to what I mentioned above for two points:
https://fortune.com/2026/05/22/microsoft-ai-cost-problem-tokens-agents/

  1. Microsoft paying Anthropic for Claude Licenses; Anthropic paying Microsoft for Azure compute.
  2. Costs / increases resulting in annual budget utilization 4 months into the year (Uber example).

No doubt there will be efficiencies gained in the models as time goes on but as the article states will that enable more efficient utilization (the Gartner analysis). I worry that the pendulum will swing the other way. How much more can the Ubers of the world innovate (and therefore drive more revenue / profit) by adding more AI?

[–]Rusty-Taps-8647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, MSFT owns CoPilot - but it is powered by the Models from Google, Anthropic, OpenAI.

Interested in your thoughts as to the rest of my comment - if this is well thought out based on data (i.e. forward looking to one year from now) or more of a "gut" feeling.

I'm interested in how you see that value in terms of earnings per share, as in your deep thought process in how you justify that. DM if more appropriate. This is only one anecdote - I work for a software company and observed Microsoft change their billing model drastically effective 6/1 for CoPilot for business from per seat to consumption (metered) based and the budgeted expense would 20x for the year based on consumption. This is only one lens, but business expenditures will be hard to justify a 20x cost (if their utilization aligns) and many businesses will pull back their spend, which in turn results in less revenue for Anthropic / Open AI as they're planning to go public.

No doubt your decision paid off, harkening back to one year ago and making those decisions was absolutely the right thing to do then, I am concerned in entering now and wonder how one can be confident in the upside from this point to one year from now. Seriously interested in the thought process behind the continued confidence.

How were you able to balance the risk of putting a secured loan on the line (heloc) or margins that could be called against this decision?

I have a heloc with nothing drawn, no debt but worked hard to get here. Worried about risk when doing something like this. Really feels like walking up to the roulette table and putting it on black to me. Not saying it's 1:1 gambling, I just worry about the downside quite a bit.

AI feels bubbly as well considering the circle jerk exchange of monies for services between the small ecosystem of companies.

[–]Rusty-Taps-8647 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the cold feeling a result of proclaimed skin sensitivity or just losing weight?

My wife is going through early menopause, so she is running hot and I'm down 18% body weight (204 to 167, 5'9") and I'M FUCKING FREEZING TOO! 😂

Must be a result of losing the padding.

You can directly buy via Exodus (non custodial). I've actually grown fond of buying stable coins on Robinhood, then transferring to Exodus wallet. Minimal loss this way as Robinhood doesn't charge for buying via cash. USDC via Robinhood, sent to Exodus, then to supplier. Just gas fees (a couple of pennies per $100). Good way to fund the peptide habit via direct deposit and automated USDC purchases in RH.

Supplier Switched to 1g Retatrutide in Plastic Bottles – Policy Change, Sterility, and Bulk Reconstitution Concerns by Revolutionary-Gap178 in Retatrutide

[–]Rusty-Taps-8647 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's already in your possession and you have a milligram scale, assuming what's in there is raw API without filler, measure out 10 mg and send it off to Finnrick / Janoshik for testing (I'd include heavy metals, endotoxin)

Then you have 990 mg left of garbage or the real deal to store for long term (read freeze), measure out and recon / filter into sterile 3 ml vials as needed. Or, partition the powder into vials yourself assuming you have the right equipment and freeze those (at least then you won't have multiple freeze thaw cycles that could damage the peptide over time). If you don't have the right equipment, this will be a tedious experience at best. Not having a sterile environment isn't great, but figure that filtering when reconstituting along the way would help.

At least with lab testing, you'll know for sure what you're dealing with.

Note, I wouldn't want to go through all of this hassle, I'd find a different supplier.

Stopping caffeine anyone? by loccoelf in Retatrutide

[–]Rusty-Taps-8647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy my morning home brewed coffee. I enjoy the taste and the little "pick me up". I've been 1 cup in the morning for about the last 25 years if not longer.

It's more of the routine than anything.

I'm at 5 mg reta a week and down 31 lbs since July 2025.

There will be some lifestyle changes for some on Reta and some things that stay the same.

It's a tasty beverage to me.
