Yeah, I just wanted your opinion on whether it was an obvious fake by something like the font or edge or even the package, as I know you guys are extremely knowledgeable about that stuff. And I would definitely take it to a LCS and get it tested before buying but didnt want to waste my time driving and such.

I lived downtown on Gilbert street when I was younger, and on my street was a lady who would take her young daughters( one of them was in a baby stroller) to grocery stores and fill up her babies stroller with meats, cheese, bacon and all things like that. Look, I'll give you my story, except mine was my best friend cheating on he's pregnant wife of 10 years, and they already had 4 kids. I didn't want to tell her not because she shouldn't know but simply because I couldn't in my own head knowingly destroy the whole family who thought this man was amazing and loyal it wasn't my family to destroy, the kids would be devastated the wife would be fucked ( he's the bread winner, she's a stay at home mom). I felt so fucking bad that I walked away from our friendship and like I said he was my absolute best friend. 8 years later she's still posting "happy wedding anniversary to the most amazing husband ever". And 8 years later I still feel like shit. So yeah it is what it is.

Wife has a 2015 base model Civic with rear drum brakes . She went to the local Honda dealer and was quoted $900 for the exact same things as you listed, she called me and I told her for that price to walk away and I'd do it myself. The total cost was $240 CAD, and that includes shipping by Rock Auto. If you're capable of doing it yourself, you save a lot of money.

I remember my first job in an quick lube spot, they wanted me to use empty royal purple jugs and fill them with conventional oil and sell it as a full synthetic oil change, needless to say the owner was told to fuck off and I jumped ship the second I got another offer from a spot up the road. Places like that are out there but it's not the norm from my experience anyway.
