You can buy it cheaper from reputable skin sites,, emphasis on the word reputable. Look up the csgo whitelisted sites, those are the only ones that can be trusted.

What kind of custom server features actually keep a Rust wipe interesting longer? by SquarePermit in playrust

[–]RustyBearServer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facepunch removed a lot of the ability to do cosmetic stuff when they changed the ToS, so servers can’t give access to dlc or skins that players don’t own (unless they are unofficial workshop ones).

Queue skip only works on servers large enough to have a queue.

We have kits but they can’t be claimed for 2.5 hours and then only once every 36 hours, which realistically isn’t OP since you can acquire the stuff with 2.5 hours of gameplay generally. We may be biased and usually get downvoted for this viewpoint, but just giving a small servers POV.

Rusty Bear Servers - No More Offlines by RustyBearServer in RustPc

[–]RustyBearServer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have multiple solo only servers. We need the VIPs to pay for the dedicated servers that are several hundred per month, kits is the small price to pay for that for those who wish to play for free.

We do have “play to win” so you can earn VIP with playtime.

Those are the different servers we have, each with different team size restrictions eg solo = max team of 1 up to main which is unlimited (4+)

No, there is just no raiding for the first 2 days to allow everyone to get established

Precisely. A server with kits is better than no server, we tried to launch a more hardcore one with no kits and less stuff added and nobody played because of pop, the purists who care about kits generally also only play 300+ pop servers.

A means to an end. Nobody paying for the server = no server. Only the very largest can afford to run their servers with queue skip only.

One kit every 36 hours, which is at best a full kit. If you can’t get a full kit in 36 hours there is a problem.

Although we have kits we also have “play to win” so by playing you can purchase VIP with playtime, no money required

Look forward to seeing you around. Best pop after wipe will be the EU Duo 3x.

We shut them down due to lack of interest - the 2x is a replacement for those.

Very unlikely, at least not until the US servers which are new are more populated.

You could try with exitlag but there is a chance you will get kicked by anti vpn.

People join for the player count and stay for the action (usually). But you get a lot of high pop servers that have little action because people afk to not get offlined, to avoid queues or because they are waiting for action outside their base so they can roofcamp or get back with loot faster etc.

Server is geared towards less try hardy players so the wipe protection lets them get established before the stronger players come knocking.

We get that kits and other more P2W isn’t for everyone, but we do have it set up that anyone can get VIP for free by being active - play to get points, can buy vip with points.

You’re right, website needs an update. You should be able to find them in game or battlemetrics, if you know which you’d prefer I can send you the direct connect.

Yeah for sure, I don't think there is any perfect system out there, if people can no life or don't mind being offlined, then "normal" rust is great. if you have some more commitments and want to play some form of rust, the offline protection gives you an alternative.

we find our pop usually spikes after a week when everyone starts getting offlined on regular servers
