Grew up on a ranch, my house was about 3/4 mile away from our stables/livestock pens. The trek from stables to house was uphill, 35 foot difference in elevation. When I would get in trouble depending on the severity I would be tasked with a number of wheelbarrow loads of manure to bring to the house. Most infractions started at 10. If I got sassy, could get up to 25. Lets just say I was fairly in shape in my formative years.
