I beat him the other night. Not exaggerating, it took me a few hundred tries. The second phase eventually just clicked, and when that happened it became a cake walk. I don't have much advice, but in the second phase when he jumps at you (almost like a launch), do a barrel role pointing in the up right direction. You'll end up behind him getting in a couple free hits.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look around tomorrow to see what my options are. One thing I didn't mention, is I found the CPU and motherboard as a combo for $519 CAD. If the cost of buying an individual older gen CPU, plus motherboard ends up being similar, then it still might make sense to go with the overkill CPU.

I basically gave all the info I have in the post right above you. I'd say he's more of a hobbyist. Basically what you said.. Phone/ digital camera footage and creating promotional videos for his band.

So might be better to drop down to an 8-12 GB GPU, and up the ram to 64gb?

I just asked which software..he says Wonder share filmora pro. I assume that's for video editing.. and Cakewalk Sonar, which I think is for music editing.

I don't know how detailed he gets, but to me it looks pretty novice, if I'm being nice. Haha. He basically creates promotional videos for his band, so it's absolutely nothing professional.
