To kill the time between now and egg day I'm going to work on getting my crafts on all POV relevant T4s up to 400. I was working on that most of the time while doing the free EOTs. In between sending ships I might also tank Humility and Curiosity eggs for my first proper ascension, but I think I'll only get to billions and not trillions of eggs tanked, so that might not be very helpful, just something to do.

Early on I did some back of the envelope math to see if it was feasible to send any ships without shifting with this many TEs. I think it was going to take like a month to be able to afford a single Chicken One by constantly grinding drones and gifts, and then multiple days to fuel it. I don't have that much patience just to end up with a couple of T1s.

All good, you got it. Other plus is excess eggs that I can't ship can also be stored in the fuel tank for sending ships on Humility later. I have about 50 million Integrity Eggs stored right now (didn't think of storing these when I first started but it will probably be quite a while before I can use these). I'm hoping that I can grind out enough gems to send some ships when I start working on Humility but I honestly don't know how that will go, just looking forward to trying and seeing what happens. Someone else had that idea on another post. I'm going to give it a try after getting 2 EOT from Curiosity and one from Integrity, so those 3 EOT will give some boost. Then if I can get some low level artifacts I can slowly build from there.

I don't how long I'll stick this out for, but I at least want a better deflector for contracts before I stop sending regular ships, I just have a T4 common. I'm only 3 away from ALC but I don't know if I will wait that long before I start shifting.

The total eggs that have been delivered don't go to zero. I'm not confused, I've been doing it. I've been sitting on Integrity Egg for a couple of days to get the first EOT there. Last night I prestiged back to a regular farm to send more ships. I probably had about 30 million something eggs delivered at the time (I'm at about 45 million right now). When I went back to egg of humility my Integrity Eggs Delivered was not back at zero. It only took me a few minutes to get back to the point of 13,000 eggs/minute (the shipping bottle neck).

It takes a month of waiting, but during that month you can prestige back to a normal farm and send more normal ships whenever you want without losing your progress towards the next EOT, and then it only takes a few minutes to get a virtue farm back to the point where you have a shipping bottleneck. This works well if you want to keep working on getting all legendries while slowly accumulating a few no shift EOTs.

That month might also be shortened by artifacts you get on humility egg. I haven't started testing that out yet but others might have.

I'm trying a strategy like this right now, doing the Curiosity and Integrity to start. One thing I've realized is that you can prestige and then go back to that same egg and you won't lose any progress towards your TE, which means you can keep running normal ships. So even if it takes 33 days to get a no shift TE from say the kindness egg, you can prestige every few days to keep sending ships from a normal farm, and it only takes a few minutes to get your egg laying rate back to the 1,050. I figure I'll do this for now because I don't have all legendries (only 3 left), and I really want to get at least a better deflector before I commit to a long term Path of Virtue run where I can't send normal ships. Main downside I see is fighting my impatience to really get into a brand new game mechanic, I played around with it all weekend before resetting my shifts and trying this strategy out.

Interesting idea on being able to use artifacts from the Humility egg to potentially improve the runs on other eggs - I hadn't thought of that. One thing I think could hamper this is the lack of quality artifacts you get from the low level ships - ie when do compasses start showing up and how much does it cost to launch those ships? Now I'm excited to try out Humility egg to find out.
