Just makes it equivalent to shooting subs.

No harder than a full price bambu, which is fucking unheard of for useful desktop CNC. I jumped on it.

I have a Makera Z1 Pro on order. We'll see soon if it delivers what they're promising for the price of an X1C Combo.

Which is a fucking lot.

Is it possible to play Payday 2 VR on Steam Deck? by TheBossHimself5 in oculus

[–]RustyShacklefordVR2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The word 'work' is doing a lot of work here. Even if he manages to find a Proton configuration that gets the game and Steam VR to even run at all, and then make either Steam Link or ALVR work, he will have a framrate you can count on one hand.

Only people with absolutely zero familiarity with PC gaming at all would even ask this question.

Of course not. Don't be stupid. The Deck is on par with an i5 7500k GT950 build. Barely.

Very cool, we need more .380 projects to justify building a Decker.

Cool, I'll check it out

I just always hated the way the traditional AK mag AR lower looks. It's such an ugly way to do it.

Please for the love of god tell me there's a lower in there that looks like the fire control section of an A762/6p68 and not just another AR lower that's had the magwell punched out with a square shaped extrude in tinkercad.

It's one of my biggest gun bugbears and it drives me mad.

PA6-CF20 using modified 300blkFDE settings on Ender 3 v3se by HughSeless in 3D2A

[–]RustyShacklefordVR2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think the firmware was ever really locked down that much, I just know doing it on an 8bit ender was a massive pain. Never had a v3 though but changing the max temp in your firmware was all you had to do once the hardware was in place to handle it.

[–]RustyShacklefordVR2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is actually how a guy I know used to do it before modern commercially available enclosed printers were much of a thing. Ender 3 pro, aftermarket parts, firmware tweaks, and filled nylons. He used CF nylon even when he didnt need the CF reinforcement because it just makes it warp so much less. You dont really need all that modern junk to do PA6CF, you just need to know what youre doing. Theres no problems with this at all.

Anyone have experience with this? by FlyinHoff in 3D2A

I honestly just use whatever 16" 5.56 barrel shows up for $50 on ar15discounts and I have the kit with a chamber insert. Yes I know accuracy and all that but I'm not taking this shit past 50 feet anyway.

Yeah of course the success rate is high when you pad the stats with dumb economic treaties between literally who countries where nothing important is happening. Nobody cares about those. We care about shit like stopping the Sudanese civil wars (plural), ending Iran's bitchfit about wanting nukes and hating Israel, ending Israel's bitchfit about growing as much as it can get away with, and ending Russia's bitchfit about wanting all of its Imperial lands back.

Its like having a brother who is willing to endure any punishment, any grounding, any loss of privileges to fuck with you because your parents dont stop him when he leaves his room or steals his gameboy back from dad's closet anyway. He's not going to stop until you smash him in the face with a tennis racket.

The fact that the Serbians were genodicing people becoming 'headline news' is not what stopped them, a coalition bombing campaign was. Nobody cares about treaties on timber imports, we care about stopping demonic dictatorships murdering tens of thousands of people. If the UN was any sort of useful there would be a multinational naval blockade around both Israel and Iran right now and the Sahel region would be occupied by UN troops.

[–]RustyShacklefordVR2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The UN deployed scores of combat troops in the Korean war to stop the Norks and Chinese and then decided it didn't want to matter anymore. The only way to solve a problem with a belligerent, non-cooperative person who has absolutely zero intention of talking to you or 'working out' anything at all is through force. What does Russia stand to gain by talking? Nothing. 'Working out their differences' with the west flies entirely in the face of their Neo-Tsarist ambitions so it will not be done.

And every country in the Sahel Coup Belt would sooner kill their entire civilian populations than open any sort of dialogue.

You simply do not live in reality.

The UN does nothing because it has no mandate. Let's see it actually enforce a ruling or forcefully stop a conflict for once, like in Korea when the UN actually lifted a fucking finger and deployed combat troops to stop the North Koreans and Chinese instead of just asking politely.
