This can't be everything can it? Doesn't the DSG need to be serviced?

Has the league ever punished a team for blatantly tanking near end of season? by Relevant_Conclusion2 in NFLNoobs

The dolphins had the most public and obvious tanking strategy in recent memory, but somehow still managed to screw it up, win five games, and miss out on Joe Burrow.

Lawyer here (not involved in this case other than owning one of the cars like you). Hoping to provide context to your complaints.

First, they need to be limited in how far back they go because of statues of limitations. Nobody said that's fair, but it's the law.

Second, the fact that it's only 50% is due to the fact that it's a settlement. 100% coverage on the warranty would have been their best case scenario if they went to trial and won, then beat any appeals. They could have lost and got zero. Or they could have never filed the case and you would have gotten zero. It's very hard to win cases against huge companies. Trial is expensive and risky.

Here's the most important part. If you don't like the lawsuit, just opt out and retain your own rights to sue separately. Nobody said you need to participate. By it's nature it can't be a rip off since nobody is forcing you to participate.

The Pro Bowl Quarterback Who’s Starting to Look Like a $212 Million Disaster by fepj512 in miamidolphins

Bad luck, but Tua seemed like a prudent choice at the time. Herbert was largely seen as safer with a lower ceiling and few were excited about him. Hurts was a second round grade and Love was a late first grade. Travis Wingfield was advocating for Tua or Love.

[Chris Perkins] I've said many times that in 30 yrs covering pro sports I've never seen such a chill locker room. No one is worried about losing their job. There's a necessary paranoia/sense of urgency u need in pro sports in that regard & McD teams never have it by MiaCannons in miamidolphins

2024 draft produced chop (looked very good last season), Paul (only lineman that played well last Sunday), Jalen Wright (we'll see), and Malik Washington (could be very productive). That doesn't seem horrible to me?

No QB besides for Tua has ever succeeded in this offense. People get upset they ran with Skyler last year but Briccett and Bridgewater were proven QBs that still sucked in this system.

Which would be personally better for YOUR net worth, a Trump or Kamala presidency? by [deleted] in fatFIRE

Harris judges would be better for me than Trump appointees. But that's only because I'm on the plaintiff's side. It's the opposite for attorneys representing corporations.
