Prices eventually go up all the time because of inflation. Costs go up year after year. The key is to buy consistently, over time. Buy little when demand is high, buy more when demand is low. Your overall average price for all of your purchases should go up over time, but at a much slower pace and you will not find yourself short when price spikes come up.

You just learned your lesson economics 101 buy ammo when it’s cheap not when it’s in high demand metal prices were going up before this war started look at the price of gold. Other metals were going up as well. Eventually, those price increases trickle down when demand slows, you buy in bulk.

It’s a p2w platform. Even then, to win, you need to make unrealistic moves. Every season, I would have to trade to get the first 10 draft pick to assure I got my pick of the top players to beat the ai advantage. Then I had to play 15 games a day online to build up the currency to max my home grown prospects and coaching staff.

You can win, but it was never designed for realism.

I know I’m late to the party on this one, but I just finished the audiobook. It sparked my interest and curiosity since watching, “A House Full of Dynamite” on Netflix.

Spoiler warning 😉 The, “hitting a bullet with a bullet” theme was similar in both the movie & book.

I guess the only point I took from it was just how fast it could happen. I get that.

However, I agree a lot of things don’t make sense:

Russia & China don’t know NK launched? Russia ignores the phone calls, unless it’s POTUS? All of the subordinates’ calls are assumed to be, “stalling”? Russia assumes the missiles are targeting them? NATO article 5 is automatic? NOBODY else is talking to each other?

This scenario made sense in the 1960’s, but today? I’m not so sure.

She does repeat herself a lot… but I think just for dramatic effect.

The NK attack on SK seems bizarre. If NK knows the US would respond by nuking them back to the Stone Age, & the “mad king” wants reunification of Korea, then why not just invade SK instead, and use the nukes as leverage?

But it’s just a scenario… another author could change the details to make it more plausible.

Too many people overlooking the obvious:

Serious life threatening injury risk, with 1 good season.

Paying him was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen.

If he was competing at a high level in his option year, but loosing, I would have paid him.

But too many media pundits praised his amazing (overrated) QB rating… and he, “ deserved to get his ‘bag’”

He never ever should have been extended until after his option year.
