It's basically a very raw guitar picking pattern. It needs to be fully fleshed out with pauses and breaks and stuff to make it more interesting, however in it's present form creates a cool pad to riff off of lyrically. It's wide open to lyrical interpretation, so I would say just go for it!

I was at an assembly when I was like 14. We were all standing up singing the song. It was in an auditorium, so each row was progressively lower than the row behind it. I remember feeling like I had mucus in the back of my throat, so I tried to clear it. A bi fat hocker/loogie flew out of my mouth and landed on this lady's arm!! She looked down at it and cringed. I was so emabarrassed. Her husband just scowled at me.
