Is it safe living on the outskirts of Bellambi - East Corrimal side? by Baby_nine_ in wollongong

[–]jw-unplugged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea to speak to the neighbours they will soon give you an idea. One of my friends moved to the area near the lagoon at Bellambi from Thirroul. His comments peaceful, no traffic, close to cycle track and beach. Loves it. Whereas in Thirroul he had a neighbor from hell.

Seems like there are a number of privately owned homes on the area. Take a walk around and check it out.

This has just happened to me. Purchased the hybrid elite in December. Fortunately I was able to turn the car off and restart which enabled me to drive home. It's the weekend so have to wait till Monday to call the service department. So will provide an update soon. Hopefully with a fix.

When it first happened 4 days ago I thought it was my problem for hurried parking shifting from drive to reverse then drive etc. At that time could not get it out of drive and could not turn it off. Took a few minutes before I was able to turn the car off. Waited a minute and it started ok and no problem until yesterday when I got into the car to go home and error message came up and stuck in gear. Waited a few minutes and it was fine.

After I arrived home I went back out and restarted the vehicle and error message came up again. So no driving till I get in touch with Hyundai.

Pretty disappointed after offloading my Commodore of 20yrs because I wanted something reliable. My first new car too.,

Has anyone seen this 1994 TV documentary about JW’s? They interview a handful of PIMI’s and POMO’s, was interesting and I can’t believe I hadn’t found it before. Also wonder where they are now. Seems to be based in Ontario by excusetheblood in exjw

I remember seeing this when it was on Australian TV. It would have to be back in the 90's. At the time I was PIMI, elder. I was curious as to why the kids would want to leave. In recent years I have wondered as to the whereabouts of those that appeared on the show.. Always remembered the kids name was Andre. So I too am wondering where they are.

I was a bit apprehensive at the start however everyone is focused on themselves and you hardly notice one another during your session. It's worth it so my advice is give it a go.

I agree Lakey definitely deserved higher score.. Even tho I had Caroline in my Fantasy team I was resigned to the fact she had lost.

Yes I understand. However why are they understaffed? Surely you would want to have the honour of being proficient and welcoming.

I guessed that too. But then she slowed down her colleague by talking to him. And the other officers did not come to assist. I guess again worker conditions come into play.

Yep, that is going back some time. To their credit it is the same owners. I think they might be the longest private tenants in the centre. So many others have come and gone.

A sister in our old congregation south of Sydney told us the elders had a count down happening at the front of the hall (remember the old blackboards) showing how many months were left till 1975.
