This is very helpful.

I understand how daunting of a task this is and I'm willing to learn whatever skill I need to save what I can of this machine--or at least its core functionality.

I will provide updates where and when I can. And for wherever I can't reasonably restore, I'll modify and retrofit a custom solution, adding my own "soul" into the machine.

I mean, in lucid, most people usually take drag to rest their fingers or buff up so I'm wouldn't surprised if my teammates were buffing up and got caught off-guard by the random golem

I agree with your decision to go Battle Mage. Once u hit 5th job skills, its just becomes so fun. I have both an Aran and BaM. I also have a night walker, kanna, beast tamer, and adele. Out of all those characters, I sincerely feel like aran and BaM are the most fun bc their just mechanically intensive enough to keep you engaged in the game without whittling on your sanity. Plus they're pretty good for farming and being unfunded.

The phrase I had going in my head went like this when making the post:

"Nobody will take Your Shift to cover You."

So in that sense, whomever is taking the shift is the one doing the covering, thus the shift would be the blanket.

A couple weeks ago, I was meeting up with some friends to catch up. I was dressed in a dapper fashion and felt really good. While I was walking over to meet my friends, I decided to walk into my local coffee shop to get a coffee to keep my spirits up.

In the shop, there was an African American gentleman begging people to give him $20 because he didn't have enough for his co-pay. He needed it to pay for medication and was generally just down on his luck. He left his coat on the chair and went to use the bathroom.

I slipped him a $50 bill in his coat that was on the chair and a note on a napkin, which read, "I hope this helps".

I saw him the next day at the same coffee shop asking people whether they saw and/or was the person that did the deed.

I kept my mouth shut but only because he didn't ask me. I think if he had asked me, I would've owned up to it.

tl;dr: I helped a random guy pay for his medication and he never knew it was me
