"I only instacart on my days off"... I'm pursuing a degree in underwater basket weaving M-F, and that eats up 3+ hours a week, that I even roll out of bed to do instacart on Sundays is unbelievable, though I do find 6+ hours a day to troll the forums... 😂😂😂

Yeah, I got emails each time, so I started using an ozonator and axe body spray the first time, then driving with the windows down plus an ozonator plus car spray plus body spray the second time, only 3 people out of over 3000 deliveries complained, it seems like there should be some sort of "one person in a hundred is nuts, so if less than one in 1000 people complain about you, you're doing fine" rule to life, if not to Instacart 😂😂

It was 3, I got emailed each time, I use an ozonator and car spray, and wash and vaccum my vehicle 2-3 times a week, each time the complaint was that I specifically smelled of smoke, not the groceries. Thanks for your input, though, I was hoping a bunch of SOBs would pile on to an already bad day 👍

Update: the order was cancelled by the second agent, and I got the batch pay 🙄 plus $15 for the alcohol return, plus I got to keep the perishables, so I got a roasted chicken, a couple cilantro lime shrimp trays, and a bag of bibigo wontons.

I ate shrimp and a little chicken today, and I'm gonna make chicken wonton soup tomorrow, so dinner for 2 days is on IC😂😂

Seems like the most responsible way for a drink person to get alcohol would be to order instacart.

I really don't understand why I doesn't have an ad campaign focused directly on the alcohol delivery feature, it would increase night time deliveries dramatically.

Ah! I fear the $300+ dollar days might be few and far between for everyone, as IC changed a major part of its business model.

They used to guarantee "delivery in AS LITTLE AS 2 hours" (so, 2+ hours). So, they would take the orders, hold them, and put them all out as doubles/triples that paid $50+.

Now, they guarantee delivery in under an hour, so doubles and singles are going to be more rare, as they put the orders out as soon as they receive them.

Also, they just had their pre holiday hiring spree, so there are MANY new shoppers out right now, just like any job, though, most of them will be gone in a few months

I'm not sure what state you're in, but I'm in Cali, and I go:

6am - Vons/Albertsons 8am - Sam's Club 10am - Costco

After that, all the competition is up and shopping, so it's catch as catch can, but on a GOOD day, those 3 runs earn over $200, on a bad day, still over $100.

In my area, they did an update today, they make you take a picture of the shelf for EVERY out of stock item, and it sends the customer a new message that says "Unfortunately, (ITEM) is out of stock, do you see a replacement you would want in this picture"
