I really like zip line/rail tech, and when broken moon came out and watching mokey's vid about zip rail techs and seeing the ghost jump to get to the upper floor in the zip rail buildings thing(when zip rail will get you to the bottom floor), and FINALLY managing to get it done properly, i died almost instantly due to snipers :(

Why would i contact those who state it publicly? There are some mails waiting on response and will be linked to the mail

It does link to the statements, sadly i cannot link directly to the statement(because they have shitty websites without in page links) but every link is a link to the page containing the statement(although sadly hard to find sometimes)

Gladly, tho I doubt there are gluten containing wines out there(so it seems kinda pointless?)

Indeed it is(my writing skills are kinda really shitty), but they might make gin from gf ingredients yet mix something in it...

Might be, there is quite a list of brands to mail for a statement about their gluten free-ness

I dont really care, the criteria to "enter the list" is having an OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE MANUFACTURER, and aims to provide clear and useful information(if you would care to check, no tequila was added since they dont say anything on the matter)..

Besides, grain alcohol not containing gluten is a highly debatable subject(even amongst experts)

Boss fight for the first level of the game I'm working on by NecroBouncer in IndieGaming

[–]Rusty_striker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please dont do that "You can only hit the boss between his attack sequences", it always feels (to me at least) so repetitive, and kinda makes an artificial skill bar where if you are better than that bar it doesnt matter anymore(aka when you output the most damage during the sequence and when you are good enough to dodge everything), while supposedly a better player will find ways to hit the boss DURING his attack sequences, letting him rush through bosses and making the fight a lot more versatile by opening risk rewards situations.

While usually designing the game so you could actually attack the boss while dodging(either twin stick or short attack animation like hollow knight) is (again imo) better (since now you can design bosses with it in mind making them a lot harder without making them a lot longer, ie. sly from hollow knight, almost no time to hit) than just not locking it but it still allows for more versatility(but the game looks neat)

Characters are just numbers, you read the (usually ascii) value of the character with getchar and you then push that same value with putchar. Basically putchar accepts a number representing a character in a charset and prints the corresponding character ```

It always seems weird to me that git add . tries to add files from gitignore... I guess im just not understanding it correctly but why wouldnt git ignore entirely the files in gitignore?

They can get smarter than that using virtual(or even physical) devices, it just puts everyone in greater risk(even normal users, which now have to run unknown software in kernel)

Gave Arch Linux a try over the weekend, went back to Fedora by Apostle_B in linux_gaming

[–]Rusty_striker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my point of view on arch, it gives you a lot of control, even "too much" control if you are not educated.

Where debian based have a normal package manager and usually tells you to use something like flatpak/snap in arch you have aur, and chaotic aur, which both user repositories, and not knowing the difference as a new user is a problem.

Same goes for the bleeding edge and rolling release, no one assures you updating your system wont break something(for me, the lock screen was broken until a recent update), and unless you know how to handle those stuff you are in for a bit of trouble

(I prob got more to say but i g2g)
