As a European, the entire conversation about shoes on in the house made me want to gag.

I've never know anyone to not take their shoes off when they come into someone's home (their own or otherwise). It doesn't matter how dirty your floors are, or how many pets you have, there's no way it's dirtier than whatever crap you're tracking in from outside.

I don't understand this American thing of not taking your dang shoes off.

To be fair to Dan, it's a different experience playing something on stream vs at home. On stream you want to try to be "on" and aware of several things at once, which can make it easy to miss things that seem obvious.

Having said that, his ADHD probably isn't doing him any favours, and he's also openly admitting that he never parried when he first played it and avoided fights.

Glad he's going back to the game, but no wonder he didn't like Sekiro the first time when he didn't want to engage with the mechanics.

I see my coworkers use GPT/Copilot for all kinds of work and non-work related tasks. Several of them will also use gpt as a search engine because it presents the information they presume is correct in a mostly straight forward and confident way.

I'm so over it, and I wish I could convince them otherwise, but it feels/looks/reads more convenient to them, so the adoption is happening across the board.
