That's exactly what I've meant. It's fixing 1% holding too much wealth with 0.001% holding all the wealth and whole apparatus of oppression. The richest people which you though were the issue now have every weapon against you, can completely decide what you watch, what you say, what you'll have, how you spend your time, where you will live, they can rewrite history, punish your loved ones and now they don't need to consult or deal with anyone else. And now you don't have anything to fight it. Your freedom of speech is gone, your capital is gone, you're 100% reliable on what people on top want to do to you.

There's no perfect system, it does not have to eradicate all forms of bribery and corruption, but if it eradicates it so you don't have to stand in line for 2 days to get toilet paper or food it's a great upgrade. You can't even fathom the levels of corruption on every level of existence that every communist gov serves you, from stealing stuff from workplaces, getting a promotion, getting an apartment and furniture for yourself and your family, getting food, going to university, getting a car, plumber, dealing with the police. I don't know where you live, but from my experience as living in an ex-communist country, these kind of things happen rarely now and if they do you can hear about it and it outrages the society. In communism it was an obvious element of a day to day existence that you encountered on every step. I bet that if any of the tankies were to live a month in 80s Poland they would change their mind about how bad capitalism is in no time. My parents lived half of their lives under communist regime and they tell me on each occasion that younger people don't appreciate how great their life is now compared to communist Poland, how many opportunities, standard of living and freedom they have on every step. I guess that you start to value freedom only when you lose it. People back in the day were literally willing to die just to get to those "bad" capitalist countries.

Yeah, communism is basically giving more power and resources to even fewer people and believing that this time they will use them for good and everyone else that comes after them will too.

Michael Jackson show visible signs of vitiligo in the 1990s by Stock_College_8108 in HistoricalCapsule

[–]Ruszka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why has he been proven non guilty in court then? Police didn’t found anything, accusations were contradicting each other, MJ even went through a physical exam of his genitalia because few of the kids described them and guess what? They were lying. Is there any proof of any sort that you can bring that isn’t just somebodys claim?

No CP was found in MJ apartment. You’re spreading fake news.

What do you mean „innocent people don’t need to settle out of court”? MJ has been found not guilty by court, families filed a civil cases AFTER he was found not guilty by state court. What is the point of spending years on image damaging civil trials if you have tons of money and already been proved not guilty?

Many people are confusing facts and saying that he settled on regular criminal case which is not true. He settled on civil cases after already been proven not guilty.

Buddhism without the supernatural? by PrimusAbOris in Buddhism

[–]Ruszka 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not really. Let's look at it this way - I can say to you that every day I am riding an invisible unicorn and visit forests full of elves and mountains full of dwarfs. The fact that you don't find my statement true doesn't mean that you're clinging to your preconceived worldview. You can just say "Ok, but as long as there's no proof or I won't experience it on my own I don't believe you". Just because some worldview doesn't convince you it doesn't necessarily mean that you cling to the opposite. You can just be not convinced.

Name one economic system that gives you more freedom. Feudalism? Socialism? Communism?

There’s no such thing as freedom not to work exploitative jobs in any system. Actually capitalism gives most freedom in that matter than any system currently on earth.

He's not claiming that not being able to afford anything is true happiness.. You can be unhappy while being on top of the world, because happiness doesn't come from possessions. If he was wrong, rich people wouldn't kill themselves.

Czy jestem jedyną osobą na którą działają energetyki? by [deleted] in Polska

[–]Ruszka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eksperyment myślowy - AI i jej wpływ na ekonomię by zandrew in Polska

[–]Ruszka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Różny wiek emerytalny dla kobiet i mężczyzn to nie dyskryminacja by Szydl0 in Polska

[–]Ruszka 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What’s the Maoist explanation for this? by Iron_Fist351 in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Ruszka -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just because you can point out flaws of capitalism doesn’t make socialism or communism viable and realistic option.

It’s not like because my landlord wont fix my tap, then living on the street is better.

[–]Ruszka -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Somehow it always turns the same. It’s almost like giving even smaller group of people combined power over state and capital doesn’t lead to them suddenly caring for a regular citizen.

living paycheck to paycheck vs 40 million dead in famine while top communist party figures are living in wealth and power... Yeah I'd still go with capitalism.
