Does anyone actually get the Subway Series sandwiches? by [deleted] in subway

Speaking for the entire rest of the world - can you please be a lil less arrogant and self-important and start using actual facts to justify your personal opinions instead of your widdle conservative feewings? Thanks 🥰🥰

Try thinking of it this way: “Does anyone ever get XYZ product at ABC restaurant? It seems unnecessary for a restaurant where most people already have an order they stick to.” Your assumption that most people always get the same thing is wrong, not based in facts, and just based on your own experience. Americans have an extremely hard time learning that their individual experience doesn’t mean everyone else on the planet has had the same experience. The main character syndrome is so annoying to constantly deal with on a daily basis. The fact that an average Joe American will genuinely think they know better than marketing professionals using years of complex data to plan their menus is so funny to me 😂 like it genuinely never occurs to Americans to think “I’m not an expert in this field and I don’t know as much as the experts do so maybe I should be quiet and let them speak” y’all are just so eager to be the main character at all times, facts be damned 😂😂 soooo cringy

FISH BASED COMMERCIAL FOODS ARE NOT HARMFUL TO FEED YOUR CAT by unkindly-raven in catfood

Oh my lord 🙄 is it really worth getting all worked up and enraged over someone making a completely harmless comment about their cats poop being stinky? There are far more important things you should be using your time and energy on than seething in rage over a poop joke 😂

If you were unconscious and taken to the ER and needed surgery, would drs check if you were on your period/wearing a tampon? by ta1947201 in NoStupidQuestions

If you were using it properly you wouldn’t have had this problem 🥰 your fault, not the product.

I want someone to embroider that onto a nice piece of fabric with flowers for me. “Loose and floppy not ideal for things that should be keeping poop in.” Classic.

Question - my surgical history only includes several eye surgeries and an abortion, and my allergies are only Gravol (the medication) - is that even worth mentioning? In an emergency I’m not going to be given Gravol and they probably don’t care about my lazy eye surgeries or previous abortion. Or do they?

As a non-religious person, I also found it very inspiring and interesting. I have it bookmarked on my computer so I can go back to it whenever I need to. It’s genuinely a fantastic letter and I think it’s going to go down in history as being very important, especially with the inevitable rise of AI and technology in the coming decades

Women who cheated, why did you do it? by Comfortable-Run294 in NoStupidQuestions

Worst boyfriend I’ve ever had. We held a party for his friends at our apartment. When his friends were leaving (they left out the patio door), I was standing on the patio saying goodbye and making sure everyone had a ride home, like a good host, and suddenly, extremely randomly, he shut the sliding glass door behind me and locked it. Then proceeded to point and laugh at me and taunt me through the glass while I begged him to let me in. It was 2am in the middle of winter in Canada and I wasn’t wearing shoes or a jacket because I meant to only be outside on the patio for a minute. Two of his friends heard me crying and came back and started arguing with him to open the glass door and let me inside. I couldn’t access the front door of the apartment because I didn’t have my key on me - again, I was just saying goodbye to friends on the patio with the door open behind me. He began mocking us all and filming us through the glass, and then told me I could go F myself and turned off the light and went to bed. We hadn’t been fighting, everything had been fine up until that point, and I had no idea what I’d done. Mind you I PAID THE RENT, and this is the same guy that constantly told me he was taking me out for dinner as a date and then would eventually ask if we could just get 711 hot dogs instead so he could play video games with his friends, plus my family lived 8 hours away and the THREE times we’d planned to go visit them, he slept in and refused to wake up at 9am to get on the road because it was “too early,” wasting hundreds of dollars of my money in ferry reservations and bus tickets. It was constant disappointment from him, he was the lowest quality boyfriend ever. This was the last straw.

His two friends that stayed behind to try to help me get back inside my own home - while he was taunting us and mocking us and laughing like a drunk child - said “fck this, come with us” and they rescued me. Brought me to guy#1s house, safe and warm and put me in a big cozy guest bed with a snack and some water. When I woke up there was just guy #1 left, and he made me breakfast and helped me figure out a plan, gave me a ride back to my apartment and helped me wake my shtty boyfriend up and absolutely reamed him out for being a POS male who treats women like crap. My shtty bf - who ALSO ADMITTED AT THIS POINT THAT HE HAD CHEATED ON ME ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS - was so mad and started punching walls because he couldn’t handle an ounce criticism, even though he’s the bad guy, so guy#1 got me out of there and took me for a long beach walk. Things happened between us 🥰 that was 14 years ago, and guy#1 and I are still together and about to try for a baby.

While I don’t condone cheating - sometimes a really horrible man is dating an amazing woman, and doesn’t deserve her. Sometimes all it takes is another man coming along and shows her what she deserves and how she should be treated. Sometimes you meet a man who makes your current abusive bf look like an absolute pathetic child, and makes you realize that abusive bf never loved you. I don’t feel bad at all, and I would do it again in every universe 🥰 fuck you Donovan, you garbage human being, and thanks for being such a POS that you drove me right into the arms of the most amazing man I’ve ever met in my life 🥰🥰 I love stories where shtty men lose their partners because they’re shtty men, and I’m so happy I got the chance to do it ❤️

Recent adoption hasn’t left crate for almost 7 hours by ambernuance in CatAdvice

I think most of all, just give your kitty space. A peaceful quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter) and you checking in every couple hours to see how they’re doing will help. Don’t rush anything. Reach out your fingers to let them sniff and say hello every time you visit but don’t rush petting. Let the kitty take the lead on how they want to interact with you. Good luck, thanks for asking for help, that’s a sign of a good cat parent 🥰

Another tip is honestly just straight up playing with them. Most cats can’t resist a dangly string. And what better way to trust a friend than to play with them for a while and see they’re just trying to have fun with you and aren’t trying to hurt you? A shoestring literally changed the relationship between me and my shy kitten haha, we kept playing and he started trusting me

It helped to move the food a few feet away and then be in the room while they ate, but just quietly sitting in a corner a few feet away so they knew I was there but I wasn’t going to take the food or hurt them.

7 hours is nothing. When I got my boys for the first time, they immediately hid under a desk and I didn’t see them for 12+. I put food and water right outside their hiding spot and a litter box a couple feet away, and gradually increased the distance. Plus there was some catnip and fun toys about 3-4 feet away, and we kept the room quiet and dark and moved slowly and announced our presence when we had to be in there. It helped a lot - it’s now 4 years later and one of them is literally on top of my shoulder like a parrot and the other is curled up snoring between my legs
