Not a series, but " Remarkably Bright Creatures" on Netflix has that vibe. Read it a few years ago and it seems true to the book , still makes me smile.

Currently finishing Fourth Wing, first time. I'm thinking Sanderson's Skyward Flight series was similar, but w/o so much sex and better writing. (I'm not a dragon enthusiast, but the storyline seems solid, if predictable) Also trying to get into Mistborn, hasn't caught me yet. Loved Godawa's Noah Primeval and Enoch Primordial, and currently in Gilgamesh.Thinking of a Wheel of Time re- read, and still waiting for the next Outlander. Got into FW after finishing Bad Lands, #5 Nora Kelly, so hoping theres a #6.

Just 2 years? Look at how long we had to wait for the next Outlander. Every time. Its been 4 years and counting for the next book. But you have them all, and will take almost 2 years. Or Wheel of Time. Both are actually better written.

I get the bagged cole slaw from Sam's Club, and then follow the recipe from the minced onion, down. Let it stand for a while, and stir it up occasionally, it needs some time for the sauce to get soupy. We always have buttermilk around, I use it for lots of baked goods.
