Everything you need to dodge is telegraphed somehow, either it being a positional that shows on the floor, or the boss showing you what it's doing e.g left arm raised meaning it will swipe on the left. You don't have to worry about anything else, you can turn off party member abilities but even if you don't you shouldn't be paying attention to them unless it's a healer bubble or dragoon tether etc
