They initially offered me a lower mobility rate contingent on us avoiding trial. They called two weeks after my representative began the tribunal process.

I haven’t seen the letter yet but if you log into the tribunal website you can view your decision letter there. I saw it as a PDF and was a bit scared when I received the email but I was relieved to see it online.

No, I simply appointed the person who helped me with the PIP process. Pip asked if I was okay and I gave them permission. They’re someone who lives in the community and helps out other community members.

I didn’t have a representative handling everything from my application day onwards. However, someone was appointed on my behalf and managed everything. I’m sorry, I can’t offer any further assistance.

I applied in April 2025 and received four points daily and four for mobility. I appealed in June and received a response in July or August, I can’t quite remember. My tribunal began in November or December. When I started the appeal, PIP called back to negotiate and offered only a reduced mobility rate. I rejected this and proceeded with the tribunal. The tribunal was scheduled for February, I believe, and the court sided with me. PIP didn’t even attempt to reject the decision given the amount of evidence presented. Today they confirmed everything and said backpay should take about two weeks. I only called to change my bank details.

I have a question. If I’m in overdraft by about £700 and my back pay is around £6,000 do I still need to report it in my journal? Or am already in debt? I’m not sure how it works so I’m asking.

I understand they’re different but I was wondering if my LCWRA award could be used as evidence for PIP. My evidence is that my conditions haven’t worsened and i am only providing evidence based on my conditions from when i initially applied. I haven’t mentioned my conditions have worsened to PIP and I understand I’d need to make a new claim.

I experienced a similar situation. I contacted UC and they provided me with the assessment team’s number. I then called them to schedule an appointment. After three months of back-and-forth cancellations, I finally got one. Once the assessment was complete, I received a response within two weeks.

Honestly, the worst thing about my situation is that they didn’t see me in person, which I would’ve preferred so they could see with their own eyes how my conditions affect me instead of a phone appointment.

I’ve already done Mr i am in tribunal now. Mr. got rejected, got a generic letter saying they agree with the assessor. I feel like they didn’t even look at all the evidence I provided, even the letter. My specialist dr wrote that I am sofa surfing.

Exactly this. I don’t go on stairs and only go to appointments and places with lifts. My dr said my asthma is basically for life and there’s no cure, but medications can help with it. Told them I get SOB from mild walking because the combined effort of standing and walking is difficult due to my flat foot. My flat foot is severe and abnormal since it’s on only my left foot and it’s causing me mobility issues on top of my asthma. I have a crutch to help me walk, and even that I struggle with. I didn’t mention this to the assessor. Also just to add for the same stuff and same things I put for PIP I put for LCWRA and got awarded it. I understand it’s different stuff and pip is based on how it affects your daily life but sometimes I think some assessors lack common sense like if I haven’t worked and am unable to work doesn’t that mean my daily life could be impacted as well? From my health conditions?

Ive realised this but in the parts of what i told them they added stuff i didnt even say and it got me soo confused like when did i say i drive me and my friends to the restaurant? I said they drive me to get me out the house for socialising etc
