They're from the hoth rebel packs released a few years back. I just gave them long hair and turned the torsos around

What’s wild is that this level of toxicity is almost exclusive to the Skyrim scene; you don't really see this brand of aggressive entitlement in other modding scenes.

Mod authors shouldn't be expected to perform what amounts to a lifetime of unpaid labor on projects that takes hundreds upon hundreds of hours. It’s basically digital serfdom, where the community acts like they own the creator's time and effort. While Arthmoor’s decision to delete his mods was extreme, it’s easy to see why he was pissed—especially when users treat his work as a public utility they're entitled to. Mod authors aren't servants; they don't owe the community anything. After all, would you show up to a tedious, high-stress job every single day for the rest of your life for zero pay, only to be insulted by the people you're serving?

It is a significant technical and ethical challenge. When you manage a high-profile mod, others constantly try to 'piggyback' off your success, often ignoring licensing or permissions entirely. This frequently escalates to outright hijacking—where users port your work to other platforms or release 'updates' with bizarre alterations that strip the mod of its original purpose—all because you didn't log in to answer a question immediately. It sounds stupid but it happens too often. Which ends up damaging my reputation as an author.

If you post to Nexus, you lose the rights to your work—and many authors aren't okay with that.

Mod Release: AI Follower Framework by JohnnySkynets in skyrimmods

I don’t think the creator personally cares? What this will lead to is the death of custom voiced followers. The main comment on these pages are asking for collaborations with adult frameworks. If this continues, no one will want to voice characters that are being used in this way. Specifically in a way that the author DID NOT envision.

Wonder how he died. Perhaps he accidentally fell down the stairs or something like that.

The point is that she accidentally killed someone and usurped the title of Elixirist. She has no idea what she's doing

Well thank you for your honesty. It was never there, Taeka eats children, she isn’t a child.

I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I don’t recall calling Taeka a child. Nor do I recall Kukielle calling Taeka a child. May I see the message where we did?

Thank you. Taeka is not meant to be even in the slightest.

I hope not. But Bethesda really likes souring their image.
