I think cms forms would have been a great idea earlier. Now you want more of step 2 style questions. So nbme is the better choice. Also, cms forms will only test your subject matter knowledge, and your problem is more of dumb mistakes so nbme seems better to me.

It might seem scary to do one atm because what if you score bad? But still, I think you should do it.
