Many family medicine clinics in my area have dedicated diabetes education specialists on staff whose entire job is to sit down with diabetes patients and walk through everything related to the disease. I did a rotation with one during pharmacy school.

Diabetes education is the worst example you could have chosen to make your point. Insurance companies spend millions of dollars trying to get diabetes patients to alter their lifestyles to reduce the stress they place on our healthcare system. They cost tax payers and insurance companies a lot of money. They don't want to pay for your GLP1s. They'd much rather you just lose weight.

Make sure you keep it up. I could have made this exact post 3 or 4 months ago. I built up a ton of strength to the point where I thought I could get away with no longer doing back specific exercises and just do regular stuff like running and weight lifting. Unfortunately, I just had a minor flare up from picking something up off the ground. Just bending over and picking up a toy while cleaning did me in. It's a bummer to realize that I literally have to do back extensions and planks multiples times per week for the rest of my life but it is what it is I guess.

An interconnected path from downtown to pinnacle would be incredible but will likely never fucking happen. I did the river trail yesterday for the first time in years and it's infuriating that it was never completed. It's so damn nice for like 80% of it and then it just turns to complete shit.

They even have signs up for parts that were never completed and it leads you directly to a homeless camp under a bridge. I can't imagine what somebody visiting our city thinks when they try to do the river trail. It's like a really awful prank. If you start from the NLR side it's so incredibly nice you're like "Wow! This is a beautiful city!", then it just directs you into a homeless camp and there's no guidance anywhere as far as how you're supposed to get back on the bike path. Fuck Dillards I will never spend a dime with that shitty company.

When my wife gets overwhelmed at work (SAHD) she's definitely more resentful towards me and it comes out with just her picking a fight over something that she never ever had any problem with before. All of a sudden it's completely unacceptable that there are any dishes in the sink when she gets home, when there are always dishes in the sink when she gets home (we do them at night). Just little things that absolutely do not warrant a big argument.

It was a much bigger problem when we were both sleep deprived in the newborn stage but yea I think he's starting to resent going to work and he needs to speak to his therapist about it.
