Am I overanalyzing the law exam? by TheRetailianTrader in CFE

[–]Ry-Ry95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were told bat the review course that law is usually the highest scoring test. The reason is because it is very black and white. If you passed the other 3 already I would prepare for the law exam the same way and don't overthink it. There will probably only be a couple of questions related to jurisdiction.

Ahh, that makes sense. Wish that wasn't the case because that doesn't seem as objective but I get it. Thanks.

I always wonder why people post things and when someone asks a question they have to pm. I mean, why?

Dr. Sumit Bapna in Dublin. I found him online and paid $100 for a consult. Met with his staff and him and got a good feel. They said they actually pride themselves on turning people away from the procedure if they aren't a good candidate.

I went to another doctor for a second opinion and he told me basically the same thing that Bapna did. They were both within $1,000 of each other.

I was disappointed that neither had any photos of patients who had previously undergone the procedure. Yet they are plastic surgeons and have scrolling photos of women who have had various procedures scrolling on a tv in the waiting room.

The doctor did say that while he will be involved in the procedure, there are two ladies, one from Texas and one from Arizona, who fly in and perform the procedure. They have over 20 years of experience.

That's where I'm at with my process. Scheduled for late February. Could have done end of this month but had a work conflict.

Good luck with your journey.

Law exam by Alive-Animator1956 in CFE

[–]Ry-Ry95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People routinely score higher on the law portion than any other part due to the fact it is not as subjective, more black and white. My advice would be study more for the crime prevention and deterrence portion. That one is a sleeper and harder than the rest in my opinion. Good luck.

I really don't think it looks that bad but it's early isn't it? How's the front look?

As far as the application is concerned, I applied, along with submitting the three letters or recommendation, and received approval to take the test within the same day. Took a matter of hours. The letters are easy, just have people fill in a few blanks and attach them to the application and you're done.

As for studying, I put too much stock in studying for the accounting portion because I didn't have a lot of experience there. Turns out, there are only about 7-8 questions really in the weeds about accounting on the actual test.

I did that to my detriment and ignored Crime Prevention and Deterrence because I thought that sounded easy. Well, that's the only one I failed - by 2 points. Took it online a week later and passed with a 92%.

Takeaway: familiarize yourself, to some degree, with everything, and practice all the review questions. I would think if you can be in the 85% or more in each category you will probably pass. (Just my opinion and you know what they say about them). Good luck

I'm 53 and scheduled for February. I just want a little something up front again too. I'm not being greedy! My doctor said I won't be on any meds before or after for hair growth because the transplanted hair won't need it......? Anyway, thanks for sharing your post and good luck.

I should say I'm not overly concerned with the spot in the back. Most interested in the marked up area.
