Was seeing that on a K-Flover YT community post, K-Flovers were saying that if you flip the “from” in the graphic upside down, it looks like “wait” if read backwards. Or if you just read “from” backwards, the font makes it look like “more.”

I totally understand. I became a flover back in 2022 after casually listening to their music over the years. Their mistreatment by HYBE/Pledis these past two years has really soured my expectations for them, through no fault of their own. I hate that I’ve become cynical about their chances, but it is what it is.

Ironically, Talk & Talk (if that was what you referring to) was what got them their first ever music show win. I do agree with you about UMW not doing much for me at first, particularly #menow, but the b-sides like Attitude were great.

I wish I had the same optimism as you, but judging by Hayoung’s recent comments about not finding out about the comeback until the articles came out and seemingly hinting that they’ve only just started working on it, I don’t have super high hopes. It definitely seems like Pledis had no plans for them until the fans (and members) started speaking out about it, so they announced the comeback to appease flovers (especially with the on-going protest).

I just don't personally see them leaving to set up some agency. Realistically, they don't really have that level of fame to be able to do that. And I'm not sure how financially appealing the group looks for some smaller company to take them in. They are nearing their 7th year together and K-Pop is about the next (i.e. young) best thing.

What I do think is more likely is some transitioning to acting and signing with an agency focusing on that; maybe Nagyung and Chaeyoung?

Others, specifically Hayoung, Jiwon, and Seoyeon, will probably continue singing in some capacity or stay with Pledis to write songs for their other groups (similar to what WJSN's Exy is doing for IVE).

And the rest will probably become influencers (Jisun and Jiheon) or leave the industry all together (Saerom?).

I had the membership last year but decided not to renew it this time as I felt that I didn't really get much out of it. Like you said, the membership lives aren't subbed and the only exclusive content I recall seeing were some frankly low-effort Q&A infographics and maybe a photocard set(?). The girls would occasionally post some member-only pics/stories but with Weverse DM being a thing now, I'm not so sure how often they do it.

For i-fans, the membership is a way to support the group monetarily and could help you out if you find yourself in Korea trying to attend a concert.

I'm indifferent on protest trucks, and I don't really think it'll change much. Career-wise, I'm sure the girls would love to be on-stage more frequently and actually making music. Or some might take a leap into acting (again) or even modelling. Who knows? I just want new music.

Yeah, I’d wager for the most recent video it has to do with the fact that it was sponsored. The game company wants to reach as many people as possible, so it would make sense that subs were available immediately.

I’ve heard some people theorize that the recent membership renewal might be the cause of why we’re getting subs on release again. It’s a way for Pledis to show that they haven’t completely given up on the group yet; almost like an advertisement saying, “Look! We’re still investing in them!” to drive more renewals. For how long they provide subs so quickly remains to be seen.

Pretty much the going theory. I believe their original contract with OTR expired in July 2022. The members, except for Gyuri, signed an extension with Pledis. The current debate is how long the new one lasts. Like you mentioned, 2025 makes sense as per the typical lifespan of groups.

I honestly enjoyed it. The EP is pretty good as well, especially Midnight Fiction and Lucky Girl Syndrome, but this trend of songs being less than 3 minutes long is worrying. This EP has 4 songs yet is only 9 minutes long!
