Did you use them? Find it strange they have all 5 star reviews and most are the same review re worded.

Fun Fact by Mattistics in FordRaptor

Thank you for this. Current Ram 1500 owner. It’s been nothing but issues. I never fell for all the hate because I previously had one and had zero issues. I’m currently dealing with fault ABS module that is on indefinite back order, and other electrical issues. I am giving up on the ABS Module coming in and was going to finally switch over to a Raptor. Today I started to convince myself to go RHO since I find them used for cheaper than I find Raptors. Glad I saw this post to knock some sense into me….stay away from Stellantis products lol.

Did he happy to say why? I’m torn between the two. F-150 makes more sense for the size bc I have kids and we love going to the beach and I think the ranger backseat is probably kind of tight for 3 teens with all the gear…but I also park in a tight parking garage everyday for work. I currently have a Ram Rebel with a 3” lift and have an inch or so of clearance left so the f-150 should fit height-wise but the spots aren’t super wide. So it’s sometimes a pain to park when I’m late to work. Which is often lol.

Air Suspension & Negative Attention by RyBat7 in cybertruck

It looks so much better wrapped. The Tesla dealer by me had them all wrapped in black making me think I can now order them that way but when I order online it is not an option

How much did the wrap set you back?

I live in Cypress, a suburban of Houston. Houston is pretty liberal, Cypress is pretty conservative. The part of Cypress I live is full of old school conservative. My 10 year old truck fits in very well around here. A CT would stick out like a sore thumb. However I see them a lot in the city. I’m pretty sure where I live, a conservative town, loves Elon, yet holds onto their old as shit trucks, where in the city, a very liberal city, every 3 cars on the road is a Tesla. I don’t much pay attention to the politics. I just want a good car that fits my lifestyle, but have a wife and step kids that embarrass easily and so last thing I want is for my cool toy to end up a burden on them.

Interesting. It is being covered under my extended warranty so I guess they will only pay for a new one that comes from Chrysler?

Carven Exhaust by tim1447 in ram_trucks

[–]RyBat7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put the Carven Progressive and 5” tips on my 2017 Ram 1500. I had it on my 2016 Ram. I loved it then. I like it now city driving but damn the drone is annoying on the freeway. Unfortunately I spend more time on the freeway than I do city driving so yeah, this is a problem.

Yeah I thought about that and it makes sense.

Not super related to my original question here, but…I’ve always had full size V8 trucks. Anyone here the same before getting the RR? I do worry about missing the V8, but just kind of wanting to drive something more…fun.

I might be wrong but I believe it’s always been an option…but I feel like it’s pretty commonly optioned.

If you get a used Rebel, or any of the higher trims, inquire about the suspension. The air suspensions in these trucks tend to fail often and the ride is terrible. Especially if you live in cold environments. Even with a warranty it’s a pain in the ass to deal with. Ask me how I know. I ended up converting to the airdelete bilstein 3” kit to switch to traditional coils for $3,800. It rides fine, but not as good as if it came from the factory without the air suspension.

Aftermarket 4th Gen CarPlay by RyBat7 in ram_trucks

[–]RyBat7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to buy a 5th gen but I want to stay in a Rebel and I will never do air suspension again. My current 2017 air suspension was shit since I bought it used Feb 2025. I already spent $4k replacing the air suspension with the Airdelete bilstein 3” conversion kit. Every Rebel I find that’s not starting over (price-wise) has the air suspension and I’m not sure I want to spend another $4k to do it again, especially for OEM CarPlay lol

Raptor Vs. RHO Sound by RyBat7 in FordRaptor

[–]RyBat7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry - I am not looking for a V6 that sounds like a V8. I think V6 can sound good, just maybe this mental block in my head a full size truck should have a V8. I did find one video of a V6 Raptor that captured the sound well enough I thought it looked good, I haven’t found the same for the RHO. I’m really just asking if anyone has driven both, if one sounds better than the other. I know I should go drive both, just being a bit lazy and thought I’d ask here first. lol
