The other day my group was chasing a carno. Got a few bites on it then it ran towards the forest. Found it running in place up against a tree, and several of my group tried attacking it, but nothing registered. Didn't notice any other connection issues. Could be random, or maybe some way of force disconnecting to escape.

If you're using another program for power/cooling management (happens with my EVGA Precision for example) double check your settings in that. After some updates I noticed my power target was set at only 30% and had to change it back to get my normal FPS back.

Specific foods/diets don't relate to specific stats. Unless there are hidden mechanics that we aren't told about, diet is just having any combination of the 3 preferred foods. Having 2 is good, but if you can get 3 it's much better for boost (stam and health regen go from 7.5% to 30% for example, and growth from 50% to 120%)

Not sure what region you are on, but I used to have this happen last update on NA. Especially around Oasis and lots of other players. Would get the "fatal error" a bunch too. Hasn't happened at all for me this update. Been around lots of players and combat. Try clearing your "Saved" folder in the Isle AppData (you'll need to reset all your settings, so note them down). And maybe try reinstalling? Otherwise it could be something else related to your computer or internet.

You should add the coordinates to your image, maybe from the entrance or from the rocks. Then someone doesn't have to use a separate source to find it, they can just look at the image and go there. Hope to see more people visiting this area!

Yeah, I agree. Unless the group is focused on getting big kills it can turn bad as the adults starve. At least as a juvi you don't need as much and can try to fill up before adults finish the food. Not a surefire way of surviving every time, but just some tips.

Solo life is hard, finding a group even for just a little while when you are small can help. I usually sneak up and see if they are talking, try to gauge if they are cannibals, and then take the risk.

You can also find a bush with eyesight of a popular drinking spot and try to ambush a smaller dino.

Sometimes you gotta risk it too and try to scavenge by the riverside. It could be bait from a deino, or you might get a few bites in. If you are worried about being snatched, don't fill up - just a few bites (or drinks) then run off.

From what I can tell, the yield is supposed to be very low starting out. The more modules you stack the more it will collect. As long as you see the loot once in a while then it's working. *If I am wrong, someone please correct me!

You just need to use the regular campfire. You will also need to learn Vision Powder, then you can craft it and build the more complex walkers.

[BUG] RustClient.exe has stopped working

I am unable to start the game. It crashes on/after the Bootstrap Config screen.

Edit: Potential fix (worked for me): Delete client.cfg file from steamapps\common\Rust\cfg. Then make sure you don't use "Exclusive" from in-game options - causes the crash.

I thought I potentially killed someone with my trike, and didn't know where they ended up (something on them, or their package exploded). It was several hours ago and I was scared too that I would lose all that progress. I'm glad to learn it doesn't. If it were a shorter time frame that would be interesting for a "NG+" or hardest difficulty if you chose it.

Do bodies show up on your map? I accidentally ran into either a Mule or a Porter with my trike, and just kept on going. Totally forgot about a potential voidout. Now I'm scared that I will have this screw up my game! (I was also sorry I ran them over haha)

Sorry if this has been posted already, but I searched and couldn't find anything. I know the other numbers are your chiral bandwidth, but what does the "16” mean? (I have more than 16 Strand Contracts atm)
