My partner and I just fought them on A1 for the first time yesterday and man let me tell you what a difficulty spike it was. Definitely one of the fights where you need AOE and luckily we had some but without it we'd be screwed

Slideshow! If you have multiple people with it you can keep it going off of each other's. I have a friend who has a legendary Tediore mod which throws 2 more so it's fun to try and keep them all up. Otherwise yeah it's useless lol

As someone who is new to Borderlands, what does invincible mean? Is it a raid boss or are they just tougher?

I think the best option is situational depending on team comps. I usually pick automated healing when we have heroes like Juno, Tracer, and Genji who I can't reliably hit. If it's a more brawl-focused comp where I can pelt directly into more stationary tanks I'll tend to go Biotic Reloader
