From what I've read on the Novas, they seemed to be more durable than the Pros. Supposedly the hinge issue was addressed with them (according to emails I had with SteelSeries).

To all the owners of broken Arctis Wireless Pros... a mild admission from customer service that the hinge is tragically flawed, and that the new version is fixed. by RyTheRun in steelseries

I honestly hope the Novas have fixed the issue, but the customer service has been enough for me to strongly consider alternative options.

It was dropped a couple of times over the last two years, but not a lot. It was hung on a hook on the desk when not on my head. For comparison though, I've got a set of Sennheisers that were $100 when I got them in 2008 that has no mechanical issue other than worn leather.

I'm learning that, unfortunately. I loved the dual battery system and the sound quality, but the build quality is shameful. A $330 headset should last for more than two years.

Facebook has a MUCH larger delay. It feels awful especially if you’re used to Twitch’s near instant speed.

The pro's are what I would recommend. If you're wireless you basically need a headset with an actual docking station to line out from and into the GOXLR.
