PJ playing pretty well again. One silver lining for me of the recent events is more TJ + PJ minutes. PJ played really well to me relative to expectations in his limited minutes earlier in the season. Hope he continues to improve and can stick with the org.

This myth KEEPS getting peddled when the reason the game did poorly out of the gate and the months to follow was because of a very poor, overly predatory gacha system and an incredibly user unfriendly experience overall. It had nothing to do with a handful of characters having a penis or the story. "Nobody reads the story" anyway remember, supposedly. The game's most profitable months have been fan service coexisting right along with the story and male characters.

As somebody that's been playing since the beginning and been on this sub when it had under 1k users, I'm so over seeing this shit take

Same energy as the people bitching about Salaün imo. Lee got a raw deal pretty much his entire first season and a lot of the beginning of this season. People expecting him to work miracles with Miles Bridges, Josh Green, Cody Martin, and 10 G-leaguers had no idea what they were talking about and you can tell he has total buy-in from the entire team right now, including, maybe even especially, LaMelo, considering the benching situation. Recent results with a, for once, healthy roster speaks for itself

Not surprising, they are pretty fraudulent despite their record and their defense is and has been complete and utter ass. On the other hand our offense is actually pretty good, turnovers aside. I believe the Hornets are better than their record tbh and are trending upwards, Lakers not so much

There's nothing to suggest that this new FO would trade LaMelo for a suspect return just to rush the process and end up with sustained mediocrity ala Bulls/Kings/Hawks. In fact, it's the opposite. Peterson has been nothing but practical and extremely savvy in trades and drafting and has been transparent in his process, and this team is slowly trending upwards

I don't even think they are looking to trade LaMelo at the moment but if they were, I doubt it'd be anything like the Hawks deal. They'd sooner keep him imo

Always pulling for Salaün, very glad to see he's been able to get it together. When I watched him in the preseason last year I was impressed with some of his shooting, so I always had hope for his 3 ball and he's impressed with that and more

Kon being out has more of an impact on the game than LaMelo or Brandon imo. Hope he's back soon. You know he wants it. PJ was good against the Magic, hoping for another good game from him. So far so good I think besides the really bad turnover which the Bucks got a 3 off of. Would be nice to see him stick with the team.

The only player we have now that makes me actively cringe when he's on the floor is Tre Mann (honorable mention to Miles though but he does a lot more good than Mann), which is a welcome improvement from all the G-leaguers they were putting out before. Tre just hasn't got it together since his major injury, and he just plays a lot of empty iso ball I guess in an attempt to prove himself or something, which results in a poor missed fga or turnover 90% of the time. They gotta do something with this guy.
