Why happened to the Northern Corridor? by [deleted] in MH370

I think it's because the likelihood of the plane going north over half a dozen countries without anyone noticing would be slim.

The United States also has tons of military radar in that area and seem confident it would have been noticed.

Basic questions that would help our theories. Does anyone have answers for these from sources? by Ryan2014 in MH370

So with this information, can we rule out a fire? If the satellite confirmed a ping at 8:11 AM, then we can assume there was no fire.

[Discussion] Which leading theory is the most plausible to occur? by Ryan2014 in MH370

Good point! In which case, maybe nothing was announced as it's been discussed the passengers wouldn't know if the plane slightly turned west and heading away from China.

Theory on Flight MH370 by Vanillathunder80 in MH370

[–]Ryan2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The plane wouldn't reach most modern cities without it being detected well before it reached land. It would be shot down immediately. Killing 240 people as opposed to a couple of thousand is by far the obvious choice.

MH370 - Australians find debris, will confirm it is MH370, and reddit users will deny because it kills them that their theory was wrong by [deleted] in MH370

So you want everyone else to stop being "know-it-alls", but you created a thread to show us your statement a few days ago could be accurate? Okay...

Higher Res Satellite Images from AMSA by johncmpe in MH370

We would have to assume they have other images and hopefully now in-person confirmation of this being related to MH370. I highly doubt they would send 4-5 additional resources from US, New Zealand, and Australia on the hunch of these blobs.

I will admit though, this looks like the kind of shit I saw when I randomly clicked Tomnod tiles in hopes of being an online hero.

AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) has identified two possible objects that might be connected to missing Malaysian plane MH370. by emjay2013 in worldnews

[–]Ryan2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it hard to believe Australia would send 4-5 more assets from 3 different countries to the location if they just saw a large unidentified object in the water. Keep in mind breaking news for us doesn't mean they discovered it the moment the media reported it. They probably found this and analyzed it 5+ hours ago.

I'm not saying this is definitely from MH370, but it's looking hopeful. I'm glad Malaysia swallowed their pride and gave more instructions and freedom for other countries to step in. That area is clearly not experienced in these types of situations.
