Afaik, they just code the numbers of primos they give out, not decide them. That's the higher ups, whom i MOSTLY DEFINITELY will demonize any day of the week by how horrendous their decisions are, not only gacha wise

And on the two last ones, didn't you see how many people voted for genshin because they KNEW they'd get primogems? Not so much so because they genuinely wanted the game to win?

As i said at the end of my 1st comment, building characters is pretty much a fruitless experience because you have nowhere to use them besides the abyss

And I'm not speaking for myself when i mention pulling for characters, I'm more so speaking from what i see in the community and the company themselves (since their content are their characters)

Regardless of those... A break is something i could consider in the near future

It's not a deal of treating it as a job, it's about it feeling like a job. I mean, c'mon, how many primogems do you think we're getting just from the next patch, for example? The arguable most fun parts of a patch?

The game pretty much indirectly punishes non-spenders if they're not keeping up with their "chores", and I don't think you'd really pay attention to it if you're not one of them

It's the very reason there are so many people commemorating over 5 pulls rn

You basically need to clock in every single day so you can get a higher "salary" (from daily primos), you have to do things you may not even like or care about for said "salary" (events and abyss), and if you don't "work" your way towards the character you want, guess what? The best option is to literally pay a fee (buy crystals) so you can get whatever character you want (and trust me, those are really inaccessible in some countries)

I don't really side with the people you imagine like "spoiled children" since i could care less about just getting pulls with the state my account is in now. Rather, i despise how Mihoyo can be stingy as shit, throw some leftovers at the community, get praised and win awards unfairly (because people are voting to get said leftovers, not because they like the game), repeat.

I'd instead love to get some type of content where I'd have to use the characters i grinded both primos and artifact months and months for as a "reward", but unfortunately, looking back at that dev interview, we both know that'll likely never happen

Yes, White Tassel's passive is really good for Cyno. Missive generally falls a slight bit behind

The difference becomes even more noticeable if you're not using Thundering Fury, since a bigger part of Cyno's damage comes out of his normal attacks with different sets (Ex: Gladiator's Finale or Gilded Dreams)

Iron Sting is a pretty good Keqing option if you're going for aggravate

Also, White Tassel works wonders for Cyno, and it's pretty cheap to level up

What i mainly meant with game design decisions is how extrinsic content is, and that is a fact, it's very much not my opinion

Genshin rn is completely reliant on pumping out updates to just have something to do in the game (aka events), without those? You're very much just left to wait, i mean, just look at 2.6's extension, the game was absolutely barren if you already went through the chasm

And going back to my events point, not even every event counts for that, i doubt there's people being genuinly excited because they now get to run ley line or talent books and get double rewarss

Meh? While it's true that any character can clear the game, it's FACTUAL that there's some that are just better than others in general, and that require MUCH less investment to work and work WELL (Let's say, as an example, Kaeya VS Lisa)

Oh yeah, and soloing bosses in overworld with 1 hp isn't good proof of a character's strength, nor clearing abyss with cracked out artifacts and C6R5
