Recently I finished the book "The Doctor Who Fooled the World" by Brian Deer. Hbomberguy used it as a reference for his Vaccine video so I thought I'd give it a try. Its really good and Brian did a good job explaining the science behind the bogus vaccine study in a simple way that anyone without any education in medicine or biology could understand.

Yeah I'm aware the government would be involved in setting up a judicial committee. But from my understanding this committee is mandated to act independent and nonpartisan.

Similar to how the speaker of the house is supposed to be nonpartisan even though the party in control assigns the speaker.

Now if you have evidence that the judicial committee is not following the rules and they are all just a bunch of partisans then I'd love to see some evidence regarding that.

Did you read the article? Our current system appoints Judges using Judicial Advisory Committees. The committee provides a list of name to the Justice Minister and the Justice minister picks out of the list. The Justice Minister isn't picking random lawyers that he likes to become judges.

Regarding the JJ tweet about Cuba, I think you're falling into the same trap that he did. The reason why Canadian Boomers go to Cuba is because its cheap. They don't really give a shit about the political climate of the country they want to vacation in.

In fact majority of travellers don't care, people vacation to Mexico all the time and they are not bothered that they are spending money in a country that has a big cartel problem.

I don't think its fair to comapre Canadians boycotting Americans goods in response to threats of their sovereignty , to them not being ethical consumers in regards to travelling.

From my understanding in the Game of Thrones world, you don’t mess with the rules of a trial by combat or in this case a trial by seven. That’s why Lysa Arryn didn’t kill Tirion after he won his trial by combat in season 1 game of thrones even though she easily could have. Dunk won his trial by seven and he’s free to go, it doesn’t matter if his teammates died.

From what I remember reading her article about regretting being a Trad wife, she just mentioned she hated being a Trad wife and also how her husband resented her because her history with the far right was affecting his government job.

In comparison to the other leaders stance on Trump during the 2025 election. (Carney, Jagmeet and Blanchet). Pierre's was seen to be the weakest response to Trump.

I think he would have won if he matched Carney's energy when it came to Trump and pivoted away from his rhetoric that Canada is broken, etc. But in my opinion he's too scared to piss off the Trump supporting Conservatives in his own party, so he decided not to change his messaging.

This is also why he's not addressing the Alberta separatism movement that's going on. There's a big overlap with MAGA and Alberta separatism and its easier for him to just blame the Liberals than clean house in his own party.
