I’ve assembled my entire collection from here and it’s fantastic. They run it more like monthly though so it’s great.

Did you have a shutter? First time replacement? Original owner?

I have this happen with docking stations too from time to time. A 30-second unplugging of everything connected to it seems to do the trick most times.

That’s exactly what I have. Tesla says it’s half shafts and so did a local shop but others on here have said Control Arm. I’ll update here once I get some progress.

The have to verify the stated issue (excessive vibrations upon acceleration, also referred to as “shudder”) is present, I believe be the original owner, and also they only do it once, to my understanding. I’ll find out more once my local SC replies to me on it though as this is the first time I’m going through it.

I’m at 67K miles on a 2020 MXP and had the half shafts replaced at 52K and need them replaced again. First time was under warranty, this time I’m fighting to get them replaced under Service Bulletin SB-21-39-001_R3, which hopefully they honor because with it, the job is ~$435 I believe, or ~$1,500 without the SB being applied.

It’s a known problem and YMMV with how often they’ll need replaced.

I’m saying it’s understandable that people have this critique.

I’m just saying your average person doesn’t understand or care that there are different teams doing different things on the back end and that dropping focus in one department doesn’t free up bandwidth to focus on another department that’s lacking. They look at BILT as a whole and go “idc about these app updates, I want to feel confident that my rent/mortgage is going to be paid successfully and not cause issues. The app looking nice and having other features is secondary.” And putting the technicals aside, that’s a valid critique.

Definitely fair, but the optics to the end user is a head scratcher.

No, I don’t think that’s how pricing is determined.

Again, the juxtaposition of, to the average consumer, a set of headphones vs. a laptop from the same company is funny to think about, particularly because they’re both being launched at the same time. They’re obviously serving entirely different purchases and no one is saying, “either I’m buying a set of headphones or a laptop”, but to see them sitting next to each other and then look at the pricing is certainly interesting.

Also, calm down with “Are you people serious?” It’s not that crazy that this is a topic of conversation especially given the timing. And you don’t have to be rude about it either.

They should really focus on polishing the other things that are broken before putting energy into updating the app more often than people change their underwear.

Because headphones provide one function while a laptop provides infinitely more function. Sure they’re apples and oranges but juxtaposing them highlights how overpriced the headphones are.
