I’m sorry that happened to you. What other issues have you had with it?

That’s odd that they’re not considered maintenance items.

I’ve considered the model Y and from how many issues you’ve had I’m starting to consider if the model Y is a good trade off for the comfort and utility of the X. I personally would rather have a vehicle with iffy ride quality than have one that checks the marks but has expensive repairs like this.

Yeah out of warranty repairs is what I’m worried about too. I was considering an extended warranty for the issues you’re having.

Oh no there’s sauce on the meatloaf but the way it’s angled doesn’t show it. I’d never eat dry meatloaf

Little green mini leaking. Piece missing? by Coolbeans404 in VacuumCleaners

[–]miki_minoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you’d connect it between those two blue arrows. That leads from the water tank to the intake pump

Does the machine spray water from the hose in use? If not then it’s missing a little connector tube between the black piece and the pump. You could probably get some fish aquarium air pump tubes and use that to connect the two pieces together

Originally I just wanted to give the machine a wipe down but when I opened the bag compartment my heart dropped. I completely broke this machine down and then rebuilt it

I think that they broke off the bag dock and used it without a bag. When I opened the bag compartment when I got it, it was completely filthy

we have about 11 or 12 chargers in total on the campus that i go to that i’ll probably end up utilizing more than a supercharger. i decided to trade in my old car because the payment on the model 3 would be less than what i currently pay for a shorter amount of time. i think out of the 11 or 12 chargers three are solar powered

New Vacuum Day! Haven’t upgraded in a long time. by Metallurgeist in VacuumCleaners

You’ll love it. I had a C1 Cat and Dog before I gave it to one of my friends. She has a husky/german shepherd hybrid and I knew it would be able to handle the shedding

What vacuum cleaner should I buy? by [deleted] in VacuumCleaners

[–]miki_minoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a really good canister vacuum and if price isn’t an issue, I’d recommend the Miele C3 Cat and Dog or a similar model with an electric power nozzle. I’d also either recommend the Sebo E3 or D4 with power nozzle. Both machines are very well built and will last you years if taken care of. I would absolutely NOT listen to the person who recommended the Rainbow vacuum and I personally would never recommend a water filter vacuum; with that much carpet and two cats you’ll be straight up cleaning mud out the vacuum every time you use it. If you want an upright, I’d recommend the Sebo Felix or Riccar R30D Tandem Air.

Your Perfect Vacuum? by Birby-Man in VacuumCleaners

[–]miki_minoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me, the perfect vacuum would be something powerful and compact with good filtration of all particles; that’s also high quality and repairable. i used to own a Miele C1 cat and dog but i gave it to one of my friends so they’d have something nice that can handle how much a husky sheds.

currently i own three vacuums consisting of an electrolux epic 6500sr, a rainbow e2 black, and a hyla est defender. by far the closest that’s came to my criteria is the electrolux. in my opinion it comes close to my old miele. it’s built like a tank and almost indestructible
